hi Lin & L3x, im having the same problem as u. can i chk with u, r u doing any 4" platform on window rail? im doing that. but u see, if according to the situtation both of us facing. then the depth will be deeper once the platform is built. so in future the hollow gap will trap dust and hard to maintenance ? tks Lin

hi felix. u hear wat Lin mention abt the fridge door.? i went to my neighbour side, they got a two doors fridge. truth enough, the door at the wall side was unable to open fully. the main problem was because the handle of the fridge door hinder it. so the base allowance (refering to W) must be given MORE allowance as Normal type.

oh..i take notice of that. btw wat the additional allowance to be given on the Width for the base ? tks

It's not dat we dun like the tiles, its becos when we were checking for defects, some of the existing HDB tiles in my toilet and kitchen were either chipped off at the edges or hollow, dats why we can ask for changes. If there aren't any defects, you may ask ur ID to hack or overlay. The remaining sum dat i have to top up is mentioned in the forum, it depends on which kind of tiles u select. I think the HDb contractor will calculate the sum u have to top up once you tell him which tiles u selected. Hope this info helps.

We didn't like the tiles dat HDB offers, so we went to get our own tiles and ask HDB to do the rest of the job. Just top up the remaining sum will do.

By the way guys, we saw our neighbour for the first time and she showed us her newly renovated home.
