http://ask-us.cpf.gov.sg/hybrid/Themes/CPF...&SourceId=0 Q: Is there a limit on my Medisave balance? A: You need to contribute to your Medisave Account up to the prevailing Medisave Contribution Ceiling. From 1 July 2010, the Medisave Contribution Ceiling will be raised from $37,000 to $39,500 and any Medisave contributions in excess of the Medisave Contribution Ceiling will be transferred from the Medisave Account to the Special Account for members aged below 55, and to the Retirement Account for members aged 55 and above, who do not meet the CPF Minimum Sum. For those who have set aside the full CPF Minimum Sum, the excess CPF contribution will be transferred from the Medisave Account to the Ordinary Account. The Medisave Contribution Ceiling is adjusted each year on 1 July to ensure Singaporeans have sufficient savings to meet their hospitalisation expenses. Government pensioners under the Fixed Amount on Ward Charges scheme do not need to have Medisave while government pensioners under the Co-payment on Ward Charges scheme need to contribute Medisave up to half the prevailing Medisave Contribution Ceiling.

-
It take me 19 yrs of working like cow to had that mini "tokong" CPF account.
-
case by case. Need to appeal. Black and white still 8K
-
actually no need those 30 mth. Just that $8k limit, quite a number of ppl already cannot apply new HDB liao, don't say about taking grant.
-
30 mth rule still there. I check last yr. If want to buy new HDB or resale with grant, existing private property owner must sell away their property and roaming around the island for 30 mths
-
go to ur CPF OA If you never take new HDB or any housing grant before. You don't need to pay resale levy to the new HDB 30 mths waiting time is for private property owner want to buy new HDB or taking housing grant. CHQ.. I think is 1 wk +/- lawyer fee, mortgage fee, HPS

Ikea Home Design/plannin
therat replied to gsp's topic in Renovation Contractors, Interior Designers & Suppliers Reviews
I thought Ikea only did kitchen cabinet? My ex-colleague did engage them for his condo kitchen cabinet 3 yrs back. His feedback.. the contractor don't bother, anyhow do. He complain to Ikea and Ikea sent them down to do the correction until he say OK. He told me.. the early contractor(use by his friend) was good but don't know why Ikea use another contractor which he was using, workmanship not good. If the contractor didn't do the job well, tell IKEA. They will deal with the contractor. If I remember correctly, Ikea give 10 yrs warranty on the kitchen cabinet. -

The min amount must be in dollars. $1 also can. I did that before. Basically just to have the CPF link up. Or else, later you want to use CPF, need to get lawyer again.

Defintion Of Tampered Glass
therat replied to ningyusof's topic in Moving House: Packing, Storing, Moving To Your New House
if don't have the words or logo, then it might not be tempered glass liao. real tempered glass has either one of the above. This is what I understand. -
For HDB, yes. For private , co-broke is Seller give 1% commission to the seller agent. If buyer has an agent. 1% will be co-broke by the seller and buyer agent. What ratio, I don't know and I don't care. That is between agent and agent. If the buyer is a walk-in customer, seller agent will take the whole 1%. No need to share to others. should be 1-2% range. I give my agent 1% commission. Buyer agent say 3 person share 1% too little. She want MORE. AT that time, we realize my agent put her BF name inside too. (I guess both of them are partner, work as a team.) I told my husband. Our commission is 1%. I don't care how they cut their cake. If the buyer agent want more, can. Tell us how much she want more. That amount will add on to the selling price. Ai meh Then the buyer agent go and tell the buyer , we don't want to sell. haha.. don't know who don't want to close the deal. But thanks to her. I manage to get higher price 1 wk later.
-
if buyer has agent. Buyer agent will co-broke the commission with the seller agent. Buyer don't need to pay any single cents. I face this before. After the price is agree from both side, the buyer seller want more commission and we refused to give. She go and tell the buyer. We don't want to sell.

bepgof is right on the amount $117k. This is for 2 person. So $58.5k each. As for your $61.5k is for 1 person. Not both. His post is March 2010 before the minimum sum value adjust. This sum is adjustable yearly and only move up. Stamp fee can pay by CPF. Use cash first then reimburse from CPF as paper work take time. Quote from CPF
