  1. Need not worry too much, according to my wife's gynea: 90% success rate on 1st year of trying, 80% success rate on 2nd year of trying. If after 2 years still no happening, then seek medical help. This gynea major in infertility, can be wrong. Relax ya.... u and wife stressing each other.
  2. HDB very strict on this 8k ceiling. No, they will want u to show income during key collection time should you want to enjoy the concessionary interest rate. Yes, you can still take loan from HDB but at market rate. I think it is better u call up and check with the officer, better prepared yourself a bank loan(lower rate now?) so as not to delay your key collection.
  3. Clearly a clear of chop carrot. Abusing your trust ya, most of the time like that to pull a quick one. Demolish wall 700 and dare to put exclude PE charges, i won't be surprised if the ID came back to you saying need to add 400 for PE charges. Hack wall send to HDB for permit can already.
  4. Yes, other than amniocentesis test, the rest of the tests can only give an indicative which greatly reduces the need to carry out amniocentesis test. Besides, there were cases where amniocentesis test give positive results but still deliver healthy babies, quoted by my wife's gynae, but rare. My wife is at the beginning of 2nd trimester, just did the blood test and fluid test and the result greatly reduces the risk, 1:2300 only which give us the peace of mind. But then again, anything can happen, i'm keeping my finger cross and hope for the best. Congrats to you too.
  5. I don't know how much it cost. My wife is pregnant too, our 3rd child. Wonder if she belongs to the "elderly" group? From what i understand from my wife's gynae, there are a couple of tests, eg blood test(my blood too), baby neck bone fuild test(don't have the detail, that's what i have remember) before resorting to AFT Amnionic Fuild Test. It is a test that carries some degree of risk, i believe your doctor must have explained in detail to you. In fact, my wife's gynea did all the tests for her previous 2 preganacy regardless of my wife age, just to play safe. According to him those above >35 need to do the test. Whatever is it, make sure it is the last option to consider if u have exhuasted all other test.
  6. Isn't it like a green house, won't it be super hot? Especially MBR no ventilation from the windows only get wind from front door, i see no air circulation.
  7. To prevent rain from splashing in, your options are pretty clear, either retractable rolling blind or fixed awning. Fixed awning only one time cost, whereas u need to consider maintenance cost for retractable one.
  8. either make it a garden, put a fish pond there, make it a reading area....anymore??
  9. ya hope so.. "Chuan Dao Jiao Tou Zi Lan Zhi"
  10. Muffin has got a house and many blankets, so no problem at all. Gender don't know yet but my 2 girls have been fighting mei mei or ti ti, driving us crazy. $$ not enough, one more mouth to feed. The FSM is really good, said i got 3 and will come this year. I bet 4D also not so choong.
  11. Muffin's still the king in balcony. Got to give her a nice shave soon. My girls still as wild, hard to control, never sleep before 11:30pm. The younger one excited over able to promote up the rank this year end so has been very cranky.
  12. ya... he drive to work but i take MRT to work. Save petrol save parking for me.
  13. Solid wood??? How much you pay for it? Anything under $200 give you nothing but compressed wood. Then again, it is cheap for a book shelf at $28, 7ft(H) by 2.5ft(w), where can u find that kind of pricing. I bought 2 book selfs. Slanted after 3 months, so got to remove some books to reduce weight. Stainless steel??? Not totally pure. Sure have rust after months of using. Know what you are paying and u will feel much better.
  14. Yo neighbor, i talked to your HB this morning leh. Short while only cos we all rushing to work.
  15. Yes the ntuc is nearer to me, on the map u r closer to ntuc then the zha hou dian. Besides, i find the zha huo dian stuffs are much pricer than ntuc. I usually drive to boon lay place ntuc, much bigger. I only use the nearby one to pick up some small items that i may have forgotten.
  16. haa haa, u don't know there is a NTUC at our place har? Much nearer than the CC. Actually, i don't always on aircon only on very hot nights, due to the design of my MBR, there is a way to reduce the noise to almost zero with one window open.
  17. I sleep around 1am so it not the end of the day but the beginning of the day... imagine got woke up around 5:30am, first train? Faint man..... will be zzzzzzz in office.
  18. There are a few bakery shops, which one u talking about? The one facing our blocks is cheaper. Some fruits selling at the fruits store are cheaper than NTUC, u need to make comparison. Try the fish porridge, but q very long. As for the noise, not affecting me cos i always keep my all MBR windows close and turn on aircon will do.
  19. Previously, i was at ST 61, 656D. Quite a nice place, quiet and windy. I moved before MRT is operational. Wonder if the track noise can be heard? I moved partly because of the track noise, cos me a light sleeper.
  20. What's the val? Unlike EA, EM is no longer in production which makes it rare and command a certain price. Probably the seller isn't in the hurry to sell which explain the COV or they need that COV to break even. Do u have time to wait? If can, take your time to shop.
  21. You moved in already har? Just the right time, the newly renovated hawker center just open(jan 09) and there are a lot variety of food. Besides cheap as well, hawkers selling same food competing among each other. One fried mee only 0.5ct. Enjoy your stay.
