Consulted a Buddhist Shifu last time and his advise is to just break the statue and throw away. reason being is that that the statue is just for us to remind us of The Buddha (similar significance as photographs). It will be even more disrespectful to leave it lying broken in a forgotten corner you may want to verify with a Buddhist Shifu if u want to make sure.

I have also thought of running CAT6 through all the rooms in my hse. However, my electrician advised that concealing the cables will be quite challenging. he advised that he will be unable to do alot of hacking, hence, will need to put up those ugly trunkings. BTW, my hse is those newer HDB where they have concealed wirings. My suggestion is why not you still go wireless-N, but deploy multiple access points (AP) throughout the hse. I think the cost of purchasing multiple APs will be roughly the same as deploying CAT6 (depending on how many APs you purchase) and you can solve the headache of how to conceal the wirings. Just go around the house and see which part of the house's signal is weak, the deploy a new AP there. adjust here and there and woah la. . you get good reception in every part of the house.

if you have a drill, you can just buy a circle drill bit for drilling the hole in the wall. after that you cover it with those round plastic thing to "beautify" the hole. Quite a fast job actually

I asked my ID, but he said his contractor will charge a service fee.. quite a high side I think. so I asking ard and see who else is providing this service. Think I will rather get a pro to do than risk my TV drop down

I have a problem, with drilling walls. need some advise I was drilling my concrete wall and when it reaches a depth of abt 3cm, the drill bit refuses to move in further. no matter how much i drill, the depth still the same. Anyone encountered a similar problem? how to solve? I'm using a hammer drill btw
