How much does this traditional rack costs and where can I purchase it?

Cheers.

You should plan what you are going to put inside. If there is going to be very heavy stuff, better get a steel frame - but question is, why would you have such a heavy stuff in the store room - how are you going to get it out? Otherwise, Ikea's wood is good and, yes, visually better.

Ikea's shelves will do just fine. What heavy stufff do you reckon you will keep in the storeroom?

Used this before, the metal frames, bolts and nuts turned rusty.

And the edges of the metal frames can be quite sharp if you rub against it when getting something from the shelves.

Just to sharre: I found and cut out a newspaper ad a few weeks back from an company that provides adjustable boltless steel shelving, chrome plated wire shelving with galvanised panels. It claims to take 200kg and 100kg load respectively.

Company is Sim Win Liang Pte Ltd (you can google this out cause they have a web address). NO IDEA about their product and service though.

at home I use Yee-Sin. in office, I use Sim Win Liang. prices are more or less the same. Sim Win Liang's rack is boltless so U can tear it down and reconfig easily. material looks thin BUT it can ta-han very heavy things. on the whole, services and products of both companies are good and recommended.
