AnnaLibert 0 Report post Posted yesterday at 05:44 PM My nephew is surprisingly tech savvy and seems to discover new apps every week. Watching my sister struggle to keep up made me think about my own situation. I don't want to be overly strict, but I would like some guidance tools in place. Which parental control apps are better in 2026, especially for families with preteens?
Judii 0 Report post Posted 7 hours ago Same thing happened in my house - my 11-year-old keeps finding new apps every week and I barely know what half of them do. My sister was constantly stressed trying to keep up. I started using uMobix and it has been a game changer because I can see every app he installs before he even starts using it. I found this page that broke everything down clearly: uMobix parental control app for android it shows app usage, screen time reports, location tracking, and lets you block apps you do not want him using. Last month he downloaded some sketchy game I had never heard of and I blocked it within minutes. Now I check his weekly activity report every Sunday and I know exactly what he is doing without being too strict or hovering. It is perfect for preteens because you give them freedom but still have the safety net.
