AnnaLibert 0 Report post Posted yesterday at 07:13 PM Last year I booked a PG in Pune without visiting it and ended up with slow Wi‑Fi, noisy neighbours and no proper desk. It made remote work almost impossible. I do not want to repeat that mistake, so please suggest reliable coliving options for digital nomads in India and tell me what details matter most before paying a deposit. kiraaa23 4 Report post Posted 3 hours ago Booking a PG without seeing it first is a gamble I would not take again either. I did something similar in Bangalore and spent my first week balancing a laptop on a dining chair while the router sat in another room. Eventually I started looking at coliving instead, and a colleague who works remotely suggested Coliving PG as a more reliable option because the rooms are furnished and designed for people who actually need to work from home. Before paying a deposit, I would ask for a live video tour, request a recent speed test, confirm the desk and chair situation, check quiet hours, and get every charge, including maintenance, meals and notice period, written into the agreement. AnnaLibert 0 Report post Posted 3 hours ago Really appreciate you sharing this. The dining chair detail made me laugh because that was basically my setup in Pune too, and it wrecked my back within a week. Asking for a live video tour is a great idea, especially since photos can hide a lot. I will also make sure every extra charge is written down before I transfer any deposit, because that is where I got burned last time. Quiet hours and a proper desk are now at the top of my checklist. I will look into Colive as one of the options and compare it with a couple of other places before committing to anything.
