The Reno Nightmare :curse:

Terminated our first contractor service after 2 weeks of delay. We engaged another contractor which is our current contractor after that, everything seems fine as the work progressed as promised.

Just when we thought life couldn't get any better, here comes our worst nightmare, OUR HOUSE HAS BEEN BROKEN IN! (by renovation worker's connection I guess since he could easily open the number lock and knew we didn't live there).

Moved our stuff in at 8.15pm last night, we left the house and went back there after 3 hours. 1 LCD monitor, 1 amplifier and 1 DVD player gone, total loss is about 1k (thank god..). Called our contractor right after that, he came up immediately with a new lock and called the police, the police came after 40 minutes, took down every details, finished everything at about 1am, just imagine something like this happened to us before we haven't even moved in yet, so we both were sleepless.

Hope our experience would help to remind those who are gonna do renovation, lock the door and limit the accessibility.

So sorry to hear that your house got broken into :(

Both contractors (new and old) got the lock combination? Hope the police catch the thief soon

Thanks :D
