This contractor did up her parents' place, her sis's plc and now hers. Have seen her house before, not bad...so, high chance I will use him. ahying 0 Report post Posted September 23, 2008 Most of the stuff were suppsosed to be up yesterday so we went back La Casa...Rather disappointed, esp HB First the feature wall and TV console in the Living Rm. Initially I thought all (except the middle part) is black but I was shocked to see clouds of brown on it. I mean some people like it, but I prefer black. The small piece of sample the contractor gave me was all black...I don't know whether or how they will rectify this for me HB is more concerned with the practicality of the feature wall and mechanism of the drawers. Initially we didn't plan to do this...but I was tempted and he gave me the green light. Now he is grumbling, saying that we should not do this... Grills are up and small cute ceiling fan... Next is the bar top. Although the contractor communicated the height with us but I didn't expect it will turn out to be so high. HB is ok with it, liking the practicality but I kind of regret doing. I am not sure whether they can make it lower for me...It sounds a bit impossible but I am hoping... From the other direction Finally the MBR tv console...There are flowery patterns on the white part which is quite nice. I am ok with this console... Actually after everything, HB say it's not that bad...hopefully will be much better when furniture comes in. Actually I am ok with everything except the height of the bar top and the colour of the LR wall and console. I have emailed my contractor, I hope they can propose some solutions...
