How Long Does It Take To Boil Water With Traditional Kettle?

Any kettle that boils about 2L of water in only 5mins or so? Am deciding whether to get a traditional kettle over the stove type or a electric jug kettle. Please advise.

My kettle can boil 5L of water in 20 mins using mid flame.

You concern is speed or cost? If you want to boil the water in a fastest way, go for electric kettle... if you want to save some $$, cos gas is cheaper than electricity, then go for stove kettle.

need to see what is your concern. Coz this qns cannot be answered objectively. Alot of other factors e.g flame design.. some hob got inner flame+outer flame, therefore boils faster.

fast speed/time = go for electrical

low cost = go for stove
