Bathtub In Hdb Possible?

Recommended Posts

Is it possible to add a bathtub in the master bedroom toilet in a 5-room HDB flat?

I bought a resale flat and am about to do reno. There's an existing shower and kerb. Keeping the tiles, not doing any hacking. Hopefully I don't need to shift the basin either. Here's the floorplan - do you guys think it's workable, can fit? How much do you think it will cost? Do I need to hack any tiles or pay for any additional work to install a bathtub on my existing shower area + kerb?

Is that an ok-sized bathtub, easy to find in shops? Or is it too cramped?

From the floor plan , U can only have the smallest 1.6m bathtub in yr MBR .

Bathtub??? Not advisable.

Why I say that?

1) Not practically for me.

2) No spare time for that due to busy work.

3) Might leak after sometime.

Above mentions are what I face now.

Best regards/

Yours has started leaking? wow, must be quite troublesome.

Is itc normal for bathtubs to start leaking after a while, or is it just the way your contractor did it?

My bathtubs never leaked in my past homes.

Your floorplan so similar to mine !

My ID doesnt recommend the bathtub. Makes the bathroom look very cramped.

Although if you really like lounging in a tub..I see no reason why you cant have it.

Just get a good quality tub, sure wont leak.
