What Should Be In The Contract?

Recommended Posts

hi everyone,

let me start off by saying this site has been a great resource for a newbie like me :) Starting my reno project for the kitchen and common bathroom... probably a small mission compared to some of the blogs for whole-unit renovations. As i haven't done this before, i was wondering how much more information should be in the contract compared to the quotation. Understand there're good and bad IDs/contractors out there, but also need to balance simple faith and good documentation.

would greatly appreciate if anyone is willing to email me (scl8k@yahoo.com) their quotation and/or contract info/documents. trying to understand payment terms, delivery schedule, how to handle disputes and changes, warranty etc. if you could share any other lessons learned would be super too... it'll help take the edge off :D

Thanks ahead.
