I think is quite fancy to put the Hse number next to the doorbell. dun need be big big 4 inch type. A humble 1 inch high lettering is enough for the most shoot bird visitor.

Weird, for those who did wrought iron gate, why didnt they put unit number like those in HDB? As in on the wrought iron gate itself...Instead, they stick it on doors, walls etc...

If the gate is normally left open.. then the unit number is not easily visible. Same reason for those who stick onto the wooden door.

Stick on gate also will cost more, since mounting not so easy.

In general, gate are close mah..The default HDB ones are actually on the gate...Usually, I thought there is a metal plate for people to stick it on the iron gate?
