Rein 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2010 Hi, Just bought a place and only now I realised a fair bit of the granite tiles are yellowish stained. It is especially yellow in a certain corner. I suspect the previous owner's dog had peed around - I could be wrong. Given that granite is porous, does anyone have a good method to remove / reduce the disolouring? Thanks

Given that granite is porous, does anyone have a good method to remove / reduce the disolouring? Thanks Suggest you to "soak" the stone by putting wet cloth on top, may take a few days or wks. Hope by fluid diffusion, to "suck/transfer" those denser part to the cloth. Edited August 3, 2010 by bepgof
lynmin 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2010 Hello kelvin, my living and room also has the yellowish stain, initially dun have one after staying there for a few years, the stains appear (very sure we didn't spill anything on the floor). You mentioned about bleach, is it leave it there for 1 or 2 days? Will bleach be too strong? TIA
