stormchris 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2011 i have an old Gas Water Heater left behind by the previous owner of my resale flat. I wanted to have it removed. I called up City Gas to ask about the removal and they say i must close my gas account with them and they will send someone down to check my gas meter and remove my meter. After that i can hire my own technician to come and remove the gas heater and gas pipes. Hmm... i am not using the gas to cook so i have no problem in closing down the gas account. But will it be troublesome if i want to reopen the account in the future and additional cost? Haiz... the customer service at City Gas is not helpful at all! All i want is to remove the stupid old gas water heater and its open pipes leading to the toilet! Anyone can help to advise me mah?
