Gain From En-bloc Flat

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

If the purchase price for a replacement flat is lower than the "selling price" of an en-bloc flat, what will be the HDB arrangement for the difference in the 2 values?

Will they compensate the full amount of difference in cold, hard cash?

If yes, when will it take place?

What will happen if there's still outstanding loan for the existing en-bloc flat?

Will HDB apply the difference and offset the maximum amount for the loan?

Thanks in advance for the kind advice.

yes and during collection of key to new house.

Assuming u need not take any loan for your replacement flat, then u will get the difference after the following have been minus off:

1) off set your existing loan

2) fund return to CPF plus interest

3) pay off replacement flat

4) stamp fees

Remaining is yours.
