ah..you are hacking your flooring too, might take longer than mine. :)

P/s: you really going to have a see through door and no grilles for your windows? It does look much nicer though.

Yay to 3-roomers also.. It's great to see others renovation on the similar layout. Your 3-D is super nice. The wall behind the sofa is so different from the original, do you do a feature wall for that? Anyway congrats on your flat, share more picture as the reno progress!! :-)

Hi Ashleyspace, Thanks for popping by. Initially the ID tot it was a solid wall but later we found out that its a fake one just to cover up the pipings. No feature wall or whatsoever. He told me there are some changes on the design as well. Hoping to turn out good also.

Here comes the sad part, Was inspecting the tiles and happen to see this. Its not straight at all.

IMG_2614.jpg

IMG_2615.jpg

Look at the bottom tiles

IMG_2616.jpg

Anyone experience this before, I saw a chipped tiled at the top corner and since its not visible to the eye, I let it pass but this...Hmm. I quickly message ID and he told me once cabinet is up i wont be able to see it and the sides will be cement screened to make it even. My main concern is fear of having gaps which could cos ants nest in the near future. Any experts ard? Lets say if the cabinets are up and its not even, Should i tell him to redo or redo the whole tiling now since cabinet is not up yet. Sigh!!!!

If the tiles are flat on the wall then I think should be level and in line. Mine only abit off at the corner, the connection between two wall at the 90 right angle, I told my contractor that I can feel the sharp edge of the tiles, he said later they will sand all the corners to make it smooth.

I think you should ask your ID to convince you that it is perfectly fine for such workmanship.
