According to The Daily Mail, a new study looked at 2000 homes across the U.K. to see if the color of a bedroom can influence how much sleep its occupants get. Their survey indicated that the most restful color for a bedroom is blue, with people sleeping in blue bedrooms getting on average seven hours and 52 minutes of sleep a night.

And Brown is the lowest. LOL. But it on my headboard area, so it's ok. I'm still staring on white walls. :D

What about green wall? I think I will sleep in my living room more often. :)

Oh ya hor.. your living room is painted blue right!? hahaa..

Here are all 10 bedroom colors, ranked from most sleep to least sleep: Blue, yellow, green, silver, orange, red, gold, gray, brown, and purple.

Green color not so bad..

We retained the original hdb toilet wall and floor tiles for both toilets.

Feeling lucky because the brown mosaic kind of goes well with the rest of the house.

Overlaying will cost some $$.

So we chose the cabinet laminate to match the brown mosaic as closely as possible.

But still retain the 'woody' theme we have for the rest of the house.

HDB provided pedestal sinks were replaced.

Original master bedroom door was replaced by a sliding door.

To save space.

nicely done up!

hey we use the same brand of laminate flooring, and think we picked the same color as well :) I used PERGO at my old place and I have yet to notice any difference in terms of quality between this German brand and PERGO.

Speaking of rugs, we've been buying many many rugs for the house.

Because they are easy to clean than carpets. I just dump them into the washing machine

Master bedroom is kept simple with customized bed frame and headboard and wardrobe in the same laminate.

Adding 'groove' line to make the same colored furniture look less boring.

Thanks to father-in-law suggestion on adding the 'groove' lines.
