Washing Machine Cum Dryer

Need someone to feedback whether a washing machine cum dryer feature is durable (>5 yr). Some say better not to have; some say now technology is better so should be ok. *confused*

I still will purchase them as 2 units instead of 1 due to the fact that combining two 'work' into one will means having more parts inside the machine. More parts = increase opportunity for different parts to break down. The simpler the machine doing one single function the better, but maybe next time when 2 units start to phase out combining into one unit then probably i will start thinking. However, i think it is good to try and let us know, because i'm not a risk taker for this kind of items.
