Hi guys,

Please help me to review my quotation.

I have chosen my tiles for the toilet.
Master bedroom & Common toilet flooring is S$4.82/sqft
Toilet walls is mainly S$3.21/sqft
Feature wall in toilet is S$7.28/sqft

Appreciate your comments and if it is still possible to ask for more discount. Mine is a 4-room, 93sqm new BTO with no flooring. Will do cement screeding by HDB.

Hi,

Appreciate it if the advice can be given on the thread instead of 'PM'. Everyone here can compare the quotation to see if it is within market price and see where the quotation is lacking in terms of specs, etc. Please avoid to PM me and give me ID/Contractor contacts. Thanks!

Hi,

I just did my my home, previously i went around to look for many quotes from many different companies. And finally came to a conclusion that diff id company quotation are diff as  only they themselves know what they are quoting as design and materials used are diff, some tried to pull a quick deal off where they themselves are not sure and not knowledgable. I personally feel that having a responsible contractor or ID is very important.

If u really need my ID or Contractors contact free free to let me know

Hi,

I noticed that there is some hacking at item A01 - bedroom walls. Just to highlight in case you do not know.

For hacking of walls, the contractor will need to apply approval from the HDB. Then the HDB will decide if you require to engage a PE(Civil) to endorse on the hacking. (which will involve some costs which can range from a few hundreds to $1k depending you find on your own or leave it to the contractor.).

It is up to HDB to decide if PE(Civil) is needed or not.
