Renovation permit still pending after 1 month! Why?

Hi,

I need some advice and opinion as i don't understand why the hacking permit is taking so long. I understand that it usually takes 1-2 weeks for approval. Does anyone knows what's preventing the approval? I have also attached the 2D design from my ID.

your floor plan not from hdb? seems like yours is the old generation type, most likely most of the walls cannot be hacked.

your ID seems not too experienced in alteration of works. kitchen area, cannot have opening, can hack but need to build back wall, meaning MBR become bigger, eating into your kitchen hacked area. Bathroom can hack, subjected to approval though, max can extend not more than 60cm

Never knew about this 60cm limit actually, learnt something new
