how did u find the workmanship and price?

Hi,

We am currently engaging the company to do our flat's reno. It is recommended by a church mate for good workmanship. It is a one-man show run by this lady called Irene. So far, it has been very pleasant working with her. We made a lot of changes and adjustments and she has been very accomodating. Hacking has started and actual work will start this week. She has a lot of recommendations and contacts. She can also try to save cost for you if you let her know your budget. But being a contractor, you need to give her an idea of the design you have in mind cos she will not do the designing for you. Also, you won't get 3-d colour drawings and stuff that ID firms provide. But we are ok with that cos we dun need a designer home. We just plan our home according to our needs. Price wise depends on what kind of materials you choose. We kind of go for better quality stuff (like granite table top for kitchen) cos we prefer something more hardy and maintenance-free. I won't say that the price is cheap, but definitely not the most expensive. Mid-range with good quality, perhaps.
