Does playing video games affect symptoms of anxiety and/or depression?

Based on scientific research on the effects of video games on depression, very opposite conclusions can be drawn. There is evidence that gaming increases concentration levels and distracts people from their depressive state. But there is also research that teenagers who spend a lot of time playing games have a high risk of experiencing depression. Therefore, there are two sides to the coin in this topic. Personally, I've always had a pleasant experience with video games. And now I continue to do so, on sports betting. For over a year, I've been making predictions at https://10cric-online.in/casino/, and I'm doing great.

Kudos on tackling such an interesting topic for your Master's Thesis. It's a subject that's gaining more attention these days, and I think it's great that you're delving into the effects of video game play on anxiety and depression symptoms. I'm not an expert, but I'll share my two cents.

I totally get where you're coming from with your research. It's an interesting topic! While I'd love to help out with your study, I haven't come across concrete info on this topic. However, I can share my gaming experience.
I'm all about gaming, and recently, Counter Strike 2 has been my jam. It's a total mood-lifter, especially with those CS2 skins I stumbled upon in a marketplace. They've added some serious flair to the game. But as for the impact on anxiety and depression, it can vary from person to person.

They say shooters negatively affect people, especially kids. I don’t know, back in my childhood, everyone, including me, played cs go, for example. Did we turn into weird people with questionable tendencies? I don’t think so. It all depends on the person and their mental state. Anything can trigger someone when there are issues, and blaming games for it just seems wrong to me.

I think what’s meant here is that when you have depression or anxiety disorders, games can either improve your condition or, on the contrary, worsen symptoms. In my case, I had depression and anxiety disorder, and games, when I had the energy for them, actually helped me relax, distract myself, and all that. I played a lot of cs go, but at the same time, I tried CS2 Crash Sites and other sites and platforms that are sort of like casinos, but instead of money, you can bet with cs go skins. I think in my case, it caused a neutral reaction. I can’t say it helped me much, but it definitely didn’t make things worse.
