Hi dreamy1981,

They may move it away automatically once you shift in For me, previously the owner place 3 bicycles near my walkway. But after I shifted in, I think they placed their bikes in their house..don't see those anymore outside.

Here r some of my suggestions:

1) Introduce yourself to you neighbours and let them know you are moving in, invite them over for house warming and chat with them nicely telling that you have some intention to place some plants or a shoe cabinet there.

2)Offer some of your home made cookies etc and bring it over to their home. Make friends and tell them if they are ok to move it away as it is blocking your bedroom ventilation.

2) If you can't reach a compromise, maybe you can try to put all your shoes at that spot or place your all your potted plants surrounding the clothes hangers. Think they will have a difficult time collecting the clothings

3) Report to TC only when there is no choice
