Haha.. sometimes I amaze myself with my optimism.. I will update as I go along. However I'm quite sian about buying the tools that I will probably use once. That's why I'm asking around for loan of tools. For sticking of tiles I will be asking my tiler for advice this Tuesday. Grouting will be another material I think. Btw I have requested my tiler to leave me a smooth and flat surface for easier application. The curry puffs and 100Plus drinks I invested in them over the last week helps a lot. Hahaha..

Good eye. Thankfully the adjacent wall between these 2 rooms have a 5ft wide x 1ft high opening at the top. I will be DIYing a frosted acrylic 2-panels to board up this opening. I will create ventilation holes with the 2 panels. Picture will follow after build. Btw I have made a change in the floor plan in a later post (about 2 weeks ago).

My Sanzio sofa also tio delay!! Suppose to deliver on the 7/4, but after delay 3 weeks with no confirm date, I call up again. And now they say delay till 3rd week of May! :curse: And you know what, when I call Sanzio, they basically push me to the supplier. HELLO! I buy the sofa from sanzio, NOT from the supplier!! Imagine I had to sit on my floor to watch my TV for so long time. Oh, there's another gal I know, her sofa from Sanzio also tio delay. It really seems like their supplier got some problem. So those who needed sofa for house warming or whatever, my take is best to avoid them at the moment.,

Purchases from Royal Fanco (Part 2) Our last purchase was the ceiling fan to be placed in the living room. Amasco Twist 54" White Ceiling Fan (w light kit & remote control) Got the piece in white. The air power was really strong (tried it on the spot) and Henry strongly recommended it. I enquired about Fanco Aroma (what i originally intended to get) and he shared that the wind is much stronger for the Amasco Twist due to the degree of slant for the blades. It also has similar design to Fanco Aroma. Plus Fanco Aroma is more expensive. Amsaco Twist was going at a promotion rate (much lower then what's stated in the picture). Originally wanted Fanco Aroma for the 3 light setting. But the rational mind took over that day. Ended up taking warm lighting for Amasco Twist to create the ambience when I need it and I don't need the cool white or day light since I have my normal down lights anyway. For those interested to buy from them, just take note that since the pricing is already very competitive, they do not give further discounts (also read this from RT as well previously, but i still tried my luck to lower the price. didn't get it though hehe). But if compared to other shops, they are already offering pretty good deals. That wraps up my purchases with them. Overall rating for Henry and Royal Fanco is 5*

Best to warn others not to buy Sanzio for this time period. Go to this thread and rant it out: http://www.renotalk.com/forum/topic/45970-handson-sofa-by-sanzio/ I think the company got problems with their supplier. not sure when they will resolved the problem. i was also very angry and scolded the salesperson. good thing that i managed to get full refund and bought a sofa from another company.

Once a year during spring cleaning, I apply leather care cream on my sofa. It's those that I use on my car leather. Been 5 years and the leather is still good.
