They only do metalworks. (I also buay tahan my door frame). for the door frames, i was advised to get sandpaper and wood filler. It's quite easy: sand, apply wood filler, let it dry, sand, paint! after i nagged contractor for the terrible work on the door frames and painting, he said it's because the door frames are old (i retained them!). I asked why the painting was so slip-shod as you can feel the roughness on the frames. He then said because had to pay extra for sanding down (which was NOT communicated to me earlier). Of course I was fuming. Too late already...

Just bought some coloured switches and sockets from Guan Seng Electrical Service Co at Woodlands Horizon, 31 Woodlands Close, #01-07, S737855. Have been looking for black switches and sockets for some time and managed to find it here at contractor price. They have them in grey, silver and white colour too. Hopefully, this is useful for those who are looking for coloured switches and sockets.

So I was doing my intense research pitting ME starmex against MHI, and I chanced upon this thread! The guy says: ... the discharge pipe after leaving the blower unit must have a drop in height before running horizontal. the larger the drop the better. but this also depends on the layout of the house. if you have the pipe only running horizontal with a slight angle, for sure you will get "jelly and scum" in the pipes before long. if you have no choice but to run it horizontal immediately after leaving the blower, then try to keep it as short as possible, then have a drop or try to raise the height of the blower. Maybe this is the cause!

Suck Services and bad attitude, as my one of my friend engaged them to do reno, after discussion they assignment a contractor to her. Yet that contractor as and when in contactable and doing wrong things. When my friend went down to the company to complain as the reno haven't done a single things, the Staffs also attitude, first things came out from their mouth is how much is your reno, after my friend stated out the amount; they said " Ohh just a small reno only". Why does a registered company behaves like that. A small reno , is not reno work project?? Why must based on the amount to determine the services. Already stated down on the instruction and the designs of the kitchen to the contractor, yet do wrong and wanted to argue all the way, telling her there is no such design in the market till my friend have to purchase the sliding bracket for him.After the kitchen work, the paint job and installation also take own sweet time, asking the contactor when can meet , claiming that no time, not sure, those excuses etc. The only thing is when comes to collect money, he will be on time to collect. When the reno is almost done, the installation of ceiling fan also installed wrongly, my friend already indicated on the box itself that which room to install, yet still install wrongly, calling him like not very happy like that. After swapping of the two ceiling fan, the ceiling is a mess, dirty and got hole where never patch up. Doing work like half-past -six. Calling him when, claiming that don't know what time , giving excuses etc. till my friend raised voice then he slight give in. for all friends, Please take note on this Company try not to engage them as sucks attitude and staffs.
