both wii & xbox360 can play oliginal games..ps3 although imo got better graphics...1 game cost like $60+ onwards..reali bo hua... I myself tinkin of buyin xbox360.

talk about ridiculous..my colleague bought a resale 4A & he paid $37k+ cash for reno which i feel worth most to most 20k. -laminate whole house (tink cheapo kind,coz when i walk..i feel like walking on plastic sheet) -do up 2 toilets -airconx3 -do up kitchen with cabinets etc ( which i find very ugly) -painting..i tink. dats about it..no wonder reno so fast..less than 2weeks finish liao.i wanna tell him he kena con..but dont wanna hurt his feelings..i juz tiam tiam..

wah..u got queue num 2 & u gave up...but funni how come ur ballot can choose 5 rooms only? I got num 3xxx..was cursing & swearing, was surprised dat still got unit available for us when our turn came. It was an exec at compassvale st, 4th floor,point blk type..walkin distance to compasspt, near tpe, beside prime supermkt,best part ard 290k only..but we gave it up..feel regretful all these months.. till i found tis EM...

so far all valuation so low...didnt knoe hougang EM 300+ can get liao.. Think my valuation is 1 of the highest here...cov paid is avg.. read somewhere in this thread..someone paid $70k cov..so rich..

Yes..hehe,sometimes i feel my unit quite a bargain at 30k cov..at least im confident can breakeven if i wanna sell....

Ya..there are about 2-3 units at the same block for sale too. All i called..lower floor,corridor units. I asked can view or not..they ask me wats my budget..i say valuation should be no problem..cov 40k max. They tell me say owner looking min 60k...sorry.

Ya la..wat to do..wife wanna stay near her parents.. but im hapi with my purchase,veri rare type, after 40k grant & saving on major reno..doesnt seem so bad. I could have got cheaper elsewhere..my EM not really at Tamp central, although can see the mrt station dwnstairs..tink 10-15mins walk. my place nearer to simei mrt,about 5mins walk. those near tamp mall, valuation even worse...nearly 600k.

Yes...despite all the cons i stated about the house and the worse was beside an mrt track., I placed a 1k deposit for the house coz was psychoed by the agent coz i showed a slight interest and he knoe my inlaw stayed beside the blk.. even after 1 year of house searching and seeing all the tricks agents played. I still fell for his trick..veri angry with my self coz my 1k burn. In fact, i wanted to place $500 onli but he say not enuf.I was like wtf..best part..he insisted cash. couldnt slp dat nite..felt like i made the wrong move..to make myself feel better.i tried to lower the comm of agent since i met him twice onli..he refused to budge..say company policy,not fair,he's a professional..blah2 So later on when i dun wanna exercise the OTP coz i found a better unit. he called me stupid..i fxxx him upside dwn.till nw unit not sold..after like more than 6mths. The unit i bought...few days b4 i gave 1k deposit,it was advertised in the malay papers,End up i bought tis unit at the same blk,top floor,different corner(further frm mrt track), much better condition,recess area purchased, frdly owner,agent ask for 0.5% comm and best part val 5k more only,cov the same. still sore about the 1k deposit lost.can buy my ps3 & xbox360 together.

I mean the EM i bought..valuation was $450k,cov $30k... talking about rising valuation,there was another EM at the same block,but lower level. Neighbour think collect rubbish place at corridor, his stuff at staircase 2.veri messy corridor.Then i went into the unit i was viewing. The owner never even do up a single thing, all original condition. He stayed there like 20+ years. Saw 3 valuations (2 expired), 1st one $410k, 2nd $430k, 3rd $445k..knn..within a space of 1/2 year increased $35k..

Wah..tink mine siao liao..i bought 450k excluding COV. After grant $40k, loan around $410k, minus CPF etc...loan around $300k for 20years. mine will never profit, break even maybe...but seriusli short & middle term i dun intend to move out of the place..hope my wife have the same idea tooo..hehe.

Agent fee im ok with it since got 0.5% discount..so pay like 2.3k..the heart pain 1 is payin the balance COV of 25k..

So many horror stories..i oso bit scared now. I placed deposit, exercised OTP. agent say will register after 45 days, he will update me when he register. Then upon completion, 30 days to let them stay so that they can move their stuff to new house.. Now nearly 1 month gone, no news from agent... My aunt previously had trouble with the previous owner, owner keep asking to extend for few weeks each time..till my aunt cannot tahan. Ask them to leave NOW.. Owner put glue on the locks..broke room locks, broke some stuff in the house...really veri bad.

tok about the contractor downstairs, notice that these contractors are camping almost everyday at the void deck of every block. I have seen their workmanship, nothing much to shout about..i spoke to a few. They refused to give quotes to me. Any1 employ them?seems like they are doing quite a number of units in bedok central.

wow...13-15k,besides that.. will be doing -customise cupboard for the area under staircase -levelling the balcony flooring,false ceiling for balcony area(extending living room area) -laminate 2nd floor if got budget,be parqueting -customise wardrobe for 2 rooms -either buy off the shelf shoe cupboard or customise for recess area. -maybe change bedroom doors -painting maybe i DIY.. tink 30k enuf or not... sian..havnt include furnishing siah..at nite have to work as part time taxi driver liao.. lucky house condition not so bad.. : (

Yes..lucky the window grilles for whole house & balcony all done up. Will be using exisitng tiles for whole house.. most major be doing the 3 toilets..hehe
