  1. you can ask the agent to prepare the OTP and exercise it without the valuation report. as what poseidon stated, valuation report is for the buyer to get his loan. when i was looking for my flat, i came across a similiar case - seller owing HDB, and according to the agent, seller must have HDB approval to sell. Did you check with your agent on this?
  2. Seller should have signed the OTP when he received the option fee from buyer. The OTP is for the buyer to exercise. As long as seller did not sign OTP, then there is no option given. Are you buying through an agent?

  5. Yes, agreed. We should compromise. I allowed the seller to leave his belongings in the flat after handling over while he allowed me to bring my contractors over after the 1st appt.

I hv just completed my 2nd appt this week. Paid much higher. You have to settle the $8900. Breakdown - Stamp duty $8250 + legal fee $1850 less $1200 subsidy. think can use your cpf.

    I saw this at my ID's showroom... interested but am afraid water pressure may not be strong enough. The brand is G-Ferretti. I cannot seems to get any information on this brand. Anyone come across this?

  14. Have not signed yet, and i did not go for the package. They are charging me more than 3k for demolition and hacking which is very high since i am doing the kitchen and 2 baths only.
