  3. Thanks for ur info pockypig. Does they come and solve the problem for the first visit? Dun wish to pay for double the cost just to solve that issue... Today my HB call the starhub and they die die can't give us a date to see the problem. They say have to wait and wait until the technican ard our place then they will come. How can they expect us last min rush to our house to open the door for them. On last friday we have call them and they keep saying will ask the technican to call us, until today we still didnt recieve any calls. Finally after argue with them, they promise will be coming on thurday. Haiz.....
  4. Hi Porkypig, We hopefully after the starhub person come over and everything will be solve. If the problem still show the same, then it could be my ID's electrican problem. Haiz.... now dun even know where the problem came from. Headache....
  5. Hi Yoongf, Thanks for the info. Now and then our neighbour alway not at home, very hard to get to them. Even they at home, they alway shut the door so i duno they ard anot. Very hard to check with them. Haiz... Abt the VHF band, i not very sure abt it, it the person who install our TV tat select those channel. I only see them using all kind of nums and scan thru the channel. I know they not using auto select function. Tis weekend i will go and use UHF band and try it out. Thanks alot! Our ID's electrican did went outside of the house and check the main box. That time only 1 TV in the house but the problem still the same. Our electrican ask us to call Starhub and saying Starhub have a things to check the wiring. Electrican saying, if it the wiring problem then the rest of the channel will have the same problem, so he very sure it not his wire problem. Anyway i dun believe in him loh. Will ask starhub to check it instead. We have let our ID know abt tis issue, if it the wire problem then they will change it.
  6. Hi Andy, Our house orgnial had 4 TV point, inculding our 3 bedroom. We shifted 2 TV point. If we only use 2 TV point, the quality also will be affected? Today our masterbedroom's TV hv been fit, and the problem face again on the masterbedroom. Haiz.. We have called the Starhub and they will be coming to see the problem. Heard from the installer, Starhub will charge each point leh. That mean we might need to pay alot. Haiz... Wondering will the problem cause outside the house wiring.. seems like some places in SG can't recieve clear signal from channel U..etc. Thanks for ur idea... will ask my ID to use another wire to test the TV.
  7. Hi Gnomish, We have not check with our neighbour leh. Often they not at home, quite hard to see them. Today my HB have call the Starhub. They saying a charge of $40 will be needed to ask them over to check. Haiz.... Duno they able to solve the issue even they come over anot...
  8. Hi Gnomish, We have not move in yet, so have not tested it. Saw the compresser and quite worry... as it so much smaller compare to my neighbours.
  9. HI Everyone, Last week, our HD TV arrives and they have checked on the TV. Soon they install our HD TV onto our wall but we realize our ID have not install the TV point. So we not able to check on the signal... Today finally they have install the TV point to our wall and we went over to check. Realize we can't recieve some channel clearly like Channel U, CNA...etc. But for Channel 8 & 5 is alrite. When we switch to those channel could see shadow and lines ard the TV.. What could be the problem? Cables? What can i do to improve the problems? Pls helps....... Thank alot for ur advise....
  10. Hi everyone, We bought our Mitsubishi Electric System 3 Non-inverter Air-con & they have install few days, to my shock i realize my compresser is so much smaller then our neighbours. It almost half the size smaller compare to my neighbour! So far have not seen tis kind of compresser before, so i'm quite worry. Anyone got a small compresser before? Will that affect the power of my air-con? How to upload the photo here?

  12. Hi Blursss, Sorry for the late replies. We decided on our ID's electrican. I have search for a few electrican and the price almost the same, different only abt $100. Same time we wanted to save problem so still decided our ID's electrican. U need my ID's electrican contact? Right now i dun have his contact but i can get for u if u need it.
  13. My mum been using Cif Power Cream for toliet wall. Can buy in any Giants supermarket on those toliet items. It does works for my mum's toliet wall, those black joints and moulds. Just leave it there for more then 15 to 20 min and wash away with water. No need to rub it at all.
  14. Hi Porkypig, Glad that someone reply. Hehe! Me and my HB not consider those glass hob, quite worry abt the cracking loh. Might get those steel type. For Hobz, their flame consider strong enough for chinese cooking? Did u bought Hobz, Hood and Oven too? Their price consider very reasonble for the whole package, but heard the brand consider young in the market so quite worry. For my mum's place, we using Turbo. Their flame quite strong, but PJ saying the parts not good. Been consider the two brands....
  15. HI everyone, Anyone recommend the brand HOBZ? Went to Poh Joo and their price for HOBZ quite reasonable. First i ask them abt Turbo bcos i wanted a cooker that high fire but the guy saying their parts not good loh.
