Hey All, I know it is late for me to start a t-blog after staying at the new place for nearly 2 years. Nevertheless, I would like to share pictures of my little cosy home with the rest in the forum. Hey, My neighbour's unit was valued at $690k and the floor area is 159sqm. I suppose yours could be valued at around $670k to $680k?

hey mysweetlittlethings, I think the unit that was sold for $720k must be the ground floor unit since the floor area is 152sqm. Wahh, that means your next-door new neighbour got a good deal too! Can save money on renovation. Actually, it is nice to stay at your block. Just 8 units and if the neighbours are nice and friendly, you guys can have a block gathering! I am not that lucky. I have unfriendly neighbours staying above my unit. Hope to visit your place soon.

Hey mysweetlittlethings! yahh there are many plants lovers at my block including me some owners were surprised to know that I am the gardener as they thought my parents were the one taking care of the plants! Happy to know these neighbours as they always share gardening tips with me. (i am still an amateur gardener) Even one neighbour who appeared very fierce came up to me and chatted with me about plants! Hee! I got a lot of potted plants as my balcony faces the pavement and now, there is the carpark gantry! So, these plants help to give privacy. Moreover, the lights at the gantry is so bright and glaring and it affects my mood. Haha!

haha i see! sorry for my mistake. I thought you are shifting in soon. I have stayed here for a year plus. Moved from pine grove to sunset way. Simply love the environment! come to think of that, your block faces sungei ulu pandan. Nice river view!

hey i am at block 110 if you walk past st 13 car park entrance, you can see my unit. it is one with many many potted plants. Yeahh! the cold storage is like a good 5 mins walk from my place and you can get yummy food at the little shopping centre. Ice-cream, cakes, and bakery. Moreover, you can go to those restaurants at blk 106. A good variety of choices. The steamboat restaurant is always packed whenever I walk past! I hope to see more facilities at the future aquatic science centre. hee sunset way

I got my place a year ago im in the real estate industry so brought my cousin to view the unit at blk 116. she likes sunset way a lot! Yahh! I think there are too many primary schools in Clementi, therefore these schools have to be merged into one. I was from Clementi North Primary School and I used to stay at Clementi Ave 1. I am a Clementi-boy! My unit is slightly bigger than yours cos the floor area is 159sqm (inclusive of a small small recess area at the front entrance). Yahh, it is situated at the 4-storey maisonettes. So, I only have two immediate neighbours. One on my left, and the other above me! I must say that my unit is one of the biggest ground floor units in sunset way as the regular-shaped ones with huge balcony is only about 152sqm. I doubt I will rent out my unit because my family and I love the location so much. Beside, nobody is going to take care of my gardens if I move out.

yahh i agree that sunset way's location is better due to the amenities! that was why my family and i decided to go ahead with the purchase even though the place was 80k more expensive than the one at clementi avenue 6. my unit on the ground floor is very windy too! I was surprised at the breeze when I first viewed the unit with my family. We fell in love with the place immediately! Even my immediate neighbour on the left doesnt get any breeze at all. (i dont share a common wall with the neighbour on the right cos there is this common walkaway between the two units). actually, your block is really nice! I love that unblocked view. Moreover, the school building beside your block used to be occupied by my primary school (which doesnt exist anymore!) so I always have fond memories of clementi ave 6.

Hey doodbug.... Congrats on your purchase! You got a good block anyway. Nice unblocked view. The ground floor em I viewed at Clementi Ave 6 was facing the MRT tracks and Commonwealth Ave West. The owner still dared to ask for COV! I didn't make an offer as the condition of the place was very bad! But, I guess I was lucky to get my current place. Cheers!

haha are you referring to my house? hee yupp i am having my reno now. just that i have no time to post pictures of my flat yet. according to my interior designer, my reno will be completed by 1st week of oct! yeahh! windows should be up by this wed!

yeahh! got my keys today! went to view my place for the 1st time but i forgot to bring my camera! lol my interior designer came along to get the measurements of the place so that he can come out with a few drawings. i hope to start the reno asap hee cant wait to move in!
