So sorry to all for the late reply.... i beat myself first... paiseh ah cutie....forgot to add that I'm also asking HoBee to change and replace all the windows and grilles and do laminate flooring for 2 bedrooms but I guess both shouldn't be too expensive right? Because after adding the above and doing the rest exactly the same as yours excluding fibre works, it all came up to $25k but Patrick was still kind enough to give $500+ discount but it's still over my budget. so sad So now looking around for other IDs, probably going to pick IDEAL HOUSE since it got alot of rave reviews as well but still, I'm looking forward to getting my new place and all lah. But Smartbuy, if you ask for a reval, you'd better cross your fingers & hope it won't go down cos that means you'll have to pay the seller more cash as the agreed price is at $382k right? But off the record, on average, HDB valuation is going up but w/r or not your val will go up, i think lah hor, it'll also depend on where your flat is located and if there're any news like near the new circle line or things like that. But if i were you, i will also stick to the old val report cos don't take the risk mah and pay $$$ for the new val report since all's well at the agreed price above

eh can anyone explain why string curtains are not practical? I'm thinking of putting one up as a divider b/w my living and dining room =) ps: no offence but there will bound to be dust everywhere even if you use normal fabric curtains or blinds

I think it's the structure of hdb flats. I used to get complaints from neighbours below of our heavy footsteps but me and my husband aren't heavy. I'm 110 and my hubby's 170 pounds. Now, we are always tiptoe-ing around our own flat.
