Was shopping for ceiling fans and a sales guy advised me that 3 blade short neck fans are not suitable for false ceiling installation as it will be noisy. He recommended we get 5 blade fans to cut the noise.... Of course 5 blade ones more expensive... Dunno real or bluff one leh ??

I think your quote is for the hollow type which traps dirt over time. You should go for the solid one which is about $350 for material cost
