Those IDs tt I approached usually will mark up their quotes...but not much they can cut also as their sub-cons need to earn also...Maybe u could tell IDs 10k lower than yr actual budget....

Yesterday, we met up with the carpenter cum electrician (aka my contractor's bro) yesterday...we passed him a copy of our floor plan with all the paint codes on the walls. We also finalised on the no. of electrical points and locations.. And we went over to our place just now and..... our feature wall is up already!! side view small partition/feature wall for bedrm Fast hand fast leg...And when we called our contractor later, we told us tt our progress is too slow!! ooppss...

Not sure as our contractor charged us a lump sum for the feature wall, so I guess the wall paper is part of the deal...

yes deposit is quite flexible...deposit can b paid by credit card, nets or cash but upon delivery, payment is usually made by cheque...furniture oso can keep leh cos we oso getting our furniture onli in april/may... i oso bought a sofa at st L...now i wonder if s&c has the model...

ya i tink laminate is more lasting than wall paper..but didnt noe we hav a choice to choose leh... yes, Native02 has been v helpful..in fact he was the one who recommended us to ah soon...we oso decided to sign with ah soon after seeing the work done at his place...

im not aware of the quality of Bellus nor whether we can ask for other brand leh...mayb i can try asking..or have anyone with the same contractor already asked b4? according to ah soon, next time we can jus call the bellus person to make gd the scratches for jus a few dollars...

the tiles u selected for mbr is quite similar to ours..grey & beige wall plus silver mosaic...in fact sin lek has a mock up which is something similar oso rite...wanna highlight the wifey find our mbr toilet abit dark so nt sure if it's a gd choice, mayb if u r comin to my place can c for yrself...another pt to note is whether the tiles selected are from the same manufacturer cos the joints for the grey n beige tiles are nt v aligned n according to ah soon, its cos they are fr diff manufacturer so v difficult to make swee swee 1 line...wil check wif him again when we meet up again... pinkpetter, red tiles are nice oso...our common toilet is oso red (quite similar to yrs) wif red mosaic tiles n we tink it looks better than our mbr toilet...
