o.O went to get some quotes on rinnai today. for the made in jap ceran glass hob with the chimney hood and the oven its approx $1,900! :/ price is from royal fanco. so **** ex! passed by turbo showroom and went in to have a look, their package is cheaper and its their 35th anniversary so they have a promo now. s/steel hob (not very nice just ok only) turbo chimney hood and turbo oven with induction hob at $35 (special promo) all in at $1457. anyone has any opinions?

ok catching up on replies and updating after a very tiring move that started on 1st May. hi all, my hacking started today. uncle's eldest bro is here with the "hackers" and a friendly painter guy called ah heng. 1 of the hackers is a man from china, same team? i saw 2 tilers too. 1 rather short n skinny aged uncle and 1 pudgy uncle. are they the good tilers u all are talking about? i didnt make specific request on who to use or to tell him i want the better teams for the work. hope he does give the better team.

are u getting tiles from sin lek? he says he uses sin lek more and they are better in terms of service for him, maybe they will expedite for him when it comes to your place? me? i just finalized my tiles with him ytd night. hacking starts on mon. he said he will come on tues to check the tiles with me. i.. dont have confidence in that. will call him to ask him again. u can try the ad u see here, lock & store. they provide space for storing stuff

gaku, are u starting on 4th? same day as me? what happens is he will send his older brother to oversee hacking. are u going to be home on first day? just pass him yr house key and he will change the lock for u. as for tiles, has he gone down to get the tile numbers from you? and, how big is your house? i think he might take the time used for hacking to order ur tiles so dont worry so much, he will get it done by hook or by crook.

So nice of him! on top of the FOC he also rounded the figures off for me to $23k. he did say he can give me a rebate of $400 since we rented the house next door and he can work in an empty house and work can be complete in a faster and convenient way. dunno how that will go. all in all, very pleased with him, no complaints.

familyof4! i met uncle just now! he was from your place earlier. we finalised all the stuff and we signed the contract with him. we are starting on 4th May which is monday! and and he told me me that the tiles we chose are pretty much the same. for my living room, im getting the same color as u. and im getting gray tiles for my kitchen, which he said same as u. and hor... he is also throwing in BLUM for me.

zomg! if it is indeed $300 i will get it! so its at S & C huh.. time to make a trip there.. in due time.
