  1. If you want it to be cheaper you can select cheaper tiles...for mine I selected $2.40psf tiles for both toilet walls...so only cost me around around 2.4k for relaying of wall tiles for both toilets...
  2. I am doing my reno wif Ho Bee (a contractor). My house is a 5 room flat, 126sqm. Since I am not doing my living room, I dunno how much the charges would be to hack and retile living room...but I think it depends on how big is the area... Both toilets reno (hack tiles, retile both floor and walls, waterproofing treatment, hack toilet bowls and installation of new ones, installing wash basin, taps, toilets accessories) - ard 5k Kitchen reno (hack tiles, retile floor only, cabinets ard 38ft + solid surface ard 18ft) - ard 6.2k Glass door in kitchen (sliding door, only 1 side) - 800 Painting (5 + 1 colours) - 1.6k Change lighting - 1.5k (we change the entire house lighting) Main door (we got from an independent supplier, might be cheaper if you get it from ur contractor) - 600 Toilet door (2 alum bi-fold doors) - 500 All the tiles used are of $3 psf... HTH
  3. I got a quote for Mitsubishi single system 18000 BTU for around 1.3k yesterday at Gain City. Any other brand which is cheaper than this? But need to have 18k BTU or at least higher than 12k BTU cos my bedroom is big (combined master bedroom with one common bedroom).

  5. Yup it is! We almost wanted to get it yesterday but decided to think about it first before getting. When we got home we couldn't seem to get it out of our mind and decided to just go ahead and get it haha... To cover for the cost we will just do away with the air cond for living room and study room...will save more electricity this way
  6. I just bought almost all my lights from them yesterday lolz....paid a total of $923 But their price is cheap..we saw other lights which are similar in other shops before (we went to quite a few shops in Balestier Road before) selling at almost double the price we got it for... And zio, you are right that they do not have as many choices as the other bigger shops along that road...but maybe it happens that they seem to have the types of lights I am looking for! They have ***** for ceiling fans as well...bought this one at around 400, to be placed in living room: and getting this one for study room:
