  1. Wen Wen, if u read on the 1st post and u will know that he didn't engage ID note for the reno.
  2. Why in the first place will u sign up without even having to look at the quotation yet. In this case, just ask the ID to do up the kitchen package that it offer will do. The rest look for another ID or contractor to do it.
  3. I don't think so, if they don't want to do, they might as well don't quote.
  4. A search for the blue pills here and u will know what I mean
  5. Maybe u took too long to decide and the last slot had been signed by another house owner...this is a first come first serve basis for those who are responsible for their works. They do not want to signed first then delay the project which will not be nice for both parties in the end. I don't think that anyone will check with every customers to tell them whether they can sign with other customers or not(won't it be funny if the contractor/ID call u and ask r u going to sign with me if not, I'll sign with other on the spot now with other house owner and I can't take your project anymore. What will the other house owner think if they were there?) Hope u can find someone soon to help u on your reno.
  6. Hmmm.........I need some little "blue pills" on this.......
  7. Hi Sis, me still in the mid of reno....not yet completed, once completed will invite u n your hubby. I looking for ID to work with me, u interested?
  8. Yes u r allowed to chose the front profile, there is no standard practice for the front profile.
  9. R u the competitor of Floor Xpert? If not, r u the staff of Floor Xpert? The way u write and post it across other threads made 1 wonder that your motive is to actually ask other to avoid Floor Xpert or Pergo.
  10. As the cut-out sink is est. to be ard L3.5ft by W400mm, this size to made it into vanity top will be quite difficult as the backsplash is ard 60mm, the front profile is ard 40mm, that left with the surface width ard 300mm. Don't think your basin is so small right?
  11. The width is not wide enough to make it into vanity top if was to cut out from the kitchen sink.
  12. Thanks....u want to do it too?
  13. Flush mount sink may not seem to be a 2 birds 1 stone concept but need to admit that its do look nice if the sink is nicely made. The thickness of the stainless steel is appro. 0.8mm, so to cut/sand this depth exactly on the kitchen top required alot of skills and don't think our 'FT' able to do it (still need to cut/sand it level, make it even harder). The levelness of the sides of the stainless steel sink is another issues. If one area is not level, u cant possible hammer it back. So what your ID can do is to stick it and put heavy material on top of it but if over the times(which can be very fast)if that area come out again, water will slip in too and this is highly possible because we use the sink every now and then (contraction, expansion, weight of things we left in the sink, vibration, etc....)The list can goes on but it early in the morning now.....need to take a rest...if I'm your ID, I'll said the same thing too, just more cons then pros only.
  14. All the best to your reno. Don't worry, be happy and most importantly, don't over stress yourself. Don't need to dui dui your chest as I've told u that if u click with your ID, let him/her do will be fine. I search for that also high and low...all only have HERS no HIS
  15. If items are at same location eg. master bedroom, try using the same woodgrain if not too many pattern will make it more confusing. U can use different woodgrain at different area, so each location have their own specialties.
  16. Ya he really bo "tong" alone in the parliament. If you ever saw the clips in youtube on the rebate of him with MM and PM, u will know that the other MP just.....................
  17. If you will to go to titanax t-blog (a good example of using lighter wood), U will see that most of the wood laminate are using a softer and lighter colour, using a darker colour wood laminate as the carcase is to contrast and bring out the whole feature. U need to let your hubby understand that there need a contrast of colours to bring out the whole design. For eg, for a all white hse, they use dark furniture to contrast the whole theme and design.
  18. What I'm referring to is, eg, for shoe cabinet, if using 2 wood laminates, try to use the same vendor such as EDL, E-series. Do not mix it with 1 E-series, the other V-series as both woodgrain the running grain pattern is different.
  19. Np...not only u, my other hse owners @ Pinnacle brought from lighting.com.sg also had this issues...light bulbs burst...but not all of them is like that, so its still boils down to the QC..
  20. Actually, what theme u r looking at? Modern resort, modern Balinese or? Find that the woody laminate that u selected are quite dark/strong in colour.
  21. U r welcome and thanks for the compliment. Will go over your t-blog to give u some suggestions.
  22. Try not to hijack others t-blog if can, if need advice, can always goes to my t-blog to ask me. emobebe, u can use LamChuan, EDL and LamiTak to chose the woodgrain that u like. Try to use the "same family" series of the wood laminate if u intent to use 2 laminates for both as both of the woodgrain are the same so its more smoothing to look at rather than become complicated and confusing.
  23. And also why everything is increasing but our wages are still the same...
  24. Why only Singapore have MM & SM where the rest of the countries in the world don't have it?
