Dear Cowhide, I am quite sure it is not genuine cowhide. Very like PU.

Pocketed Spring Or High Density Foam Sofa
SamTheMan replied to VictorTqt's topic in Home Furnishings
High density foam is theoretically better. Pocket springs are good for mattresses where the weight is spread out. Then again, everything depends on who you are buying from. -
Very Bad Experiece With Excellence Home Gallery

Mr or Miss Admin, This is an online forum for discussion. It really doesn't do your company any good to tell people to shut up or to threaten legal action. If you run your business well nobody will complain in the first place. If people complain, you get to learn and improve. Win-win for all. -
Which one?
-
Sofas are made from leather, timber and steel, prices for these commodities tend to go up rather than down. But if you are moving in May I don't see how much prices will go up.
-
Unless the pricing has come down since I last visited, the sofas at BoConcept are overpriced. You are paying European prices for China made sofas.
-
3.8K for recycled leather is ridiculous. You can get full cow-hide for that amount.
-
Who did you get your sofa from? You should let everybody know so that we can avoid this shop.
-
3 Seat recliner at $799 sounds like an awesome price.
-
Scary. Dave, Mr. EL is going take care of you.
-
Hi Mr. EL, I am in the furniture trade. In fact I have been in the trade for the last 12 years.
-
EL is probably right. We do know more about leather sofa production than he does.
-
It's great to know that such an established company is willing to take responsibility and rectify your problem. More power to Casa Italy.
-
Now that's just a silly comment. It is not as if Tanneries hide away from the world. It is not as if the leather you use are so unique that anybody has to buy from the same tannery as you do. Hang on! You don't buy hides you buy completed sofas. Tuscany is a region in Italy. Tuscany Leather is a website that sells hand-crafted leather products. You just say Tuscan leather because it sounds good. Some times you don't even know what you are saying doesn't make any sense. Asian sofa manufacturers do not buy hide from Italy, they may buy hides tanned by Italian tanneries in Asia. Finally, you sell low-end sofas there's absolutely no need to use leather imported from Italy and there's no way you can use real imported leather and make any money. You are just insisting because you said it on your brochure and website and you cannot back down. It like you use Legend Plate USA mechanisms when it is clearly stated on your sofas that they are from Leggett and Platt.

Hi Dave, EL gets their sofas from Zolano, it is posted on this thread. Anyway you will set Zolano's leather swatch displayed prominently in the showroom.

Most means more than 50%. If 50% or more of retailers are cheats then I would imagine you would see cases of such reports in the papers everyday. In my experience, most retailers are basically honest. Even the ones that were not so honest have grown to be more honest as their business grows. Consumers get cheated because they want more than what they want to pay for. If something is too good to be true then it probably is.

What makes you think that upholsterers are all honest? Most retailers are honest there are just some black sheep. You are just here to promote you upholsterer.

Does Anyone Know Which Manufacturer Make This Sofa?
SamTheMan replied to CarlsSenior's topic in Home Furnishings
Hi Carl, There was no intention to ridicule you. Apologies if you were offended. -
The people that can afford Natuzzi and QSquare probably don't even read this forum.
-
Jeanius, Most entry level sofas use 0.9-1.1 mm leather in Singapore which is actually good enough for a mass market sofa.
-
Hi Mr. EL, Err...so Mr. Alvin Ong is your boss and not an employee as you mentioned earlier.
-
Well, it will be best to buy after you have actually seen your place and then decide what works best. Any time is a good time to buy furniture.
-
Mr. EL, You have just posted on a public forum that your warranty covers wear and tear. Every other company will just cover manufacturing defects. I suppose everyone should just take it at face value.
-
Well, I have seen him do it. Suffice to say that my experience with Mr. Alvin Ong is not just hearsay. Let's just leave it at that. It does nobody any good to make things personal, my comment was still complimentary. All I that Mr. Alvin Ong is an excellent salesperson.
