  1. With Korean Peninsula's latest developments, you want to revise any of your forecasts?
  2. IMO, lemongrass is a human repellent!! The smell stings the nose big time. Anyone tried eucalyptus?
  3. Better to treat your job like clothes. Try, then change to another if it doesn't fit you. Keep trying until you find one that fits. No point getting a geomancer to audit your officespace to make the working environment "fit" you, 旺 you... FSM ask you to tilt your table by 30 degrees, change the table colour to pink, put a 30" golden pig smack in the middle of your workstation blah blah.. You think for yourself, can meh? Not if you are the boss!
  4. Harry's broom needs "Feng" to carry in order to fly. Notice how great magic always occur near "shui"? e.g. He, travelling back in time, to save himself from being attacked by spirits. That happened at the rim of a lake. See the link now?
  5. Nope! In fact, during one of the Indo earthquake which shook Punggol, my 17th floor neighbour asked me if I felt the tremors. I didn't realise it until I saw a lot of residents run out of their homes. The contrary holds true: the higher you are, the easier you can feel airsickness when the buildings swing. Think 'whiplash' effect. Agreed. As my unit faces the open field, some nightbirds tend to hang around to chat. On certain occasions, I can even hear what they are saying. My unit is quite airy. I guess the wind draft hits the high floors and redirect them downwards. No leh. Other than a lot of unsightly pipings in the toilet, there is really no visible beams or pillars.
  6. One thing puzzles me. I thought FS is a Tao thingy.. Yin Yang, Wu Xing etc.. How come Buddhist monks practise that too? Don't tell me they embrace Tao too?
  7. I stay in a HDB flat, 2nd floor too. Not bad leh. Only thing I can't stand is the ants and mosquitoes. Can't seem to get rid of them. Sigh!
  8. At 40, 1st half match gone liao? I hate to think at the prospect cuz i'm joining the club soon.. 不认老也不行了.
  9. Claims require empirical evidence to back it up. Does he have any classical texts to back him up? Has he any proof that he'll be a geomancer again in his next life? IMO, the fact that he keeps repeating this unsubstantiated claim in his talks tells a lot about the way he does his audits. Fengshui, though abstract, yields results of varying degree. Good FS, results will be felt eventually. Bad FS, effects felt a lot faster. Next life? I prefer you to tell me what's going on in this lifetime. Peace! I do apologise if i've offended any of his supporters.
  10. Why go for FS? Ans: Peace of mind! Why go for yearly audits?: Ans Peace of mind! These 3 words gives us the boost to 'chiong', don't you agree?
  11. You are better than me. I got my flat post-SARS, so it's still affordable. 2008 saw buying opportunity but flat still under 5 yr holding period, so cannot afford the 5%+15%. Missed the boat. My consolation is a roof over my head and a big, happy family to come home to. You will find bliss through contentment.
  12. Simply put: God wants you to be rich, buy 50 cents TOTO can also strike $1.6m If you're not destined to get rich, having an ultra famous FSM to audit or paying big bucks to FS your house is not going to get you anywhere.
  13. Nope. I'm not suggesting that.. In fact, I believe in actively shaping one's future. That's why I'm a protagonist of Karma. Why then do I go for FS, Bazi etc... bcuz I want to know what's in store so I can ride out the rough tides. Books can be misleading too. It depends on the experience and skill of the writer. Don't mean to be insulting, but the scores of books that you've read may or may not be authentic classics too. Unless you've lived few hundred years ago or have experienced the theories yourself, you're not any wiser. Point taken. Sometimes it takes harsh words to knock some sense into ppl.
  14. No worries Eden. Case studies like these tend to enliven the forum. It can serve as a caution for pple who want to do DIY fengshui.
  15. I'm no expert. I've been to his talks and it's a waste of time. Nothing you cannot find in LT's books. Try someone with substance.
  16. Have you noticed? The better FSMs seem to come from abroad. Your accustomed FSM comes from Taiwan. This Bazi master whom i've mentioned comes from HK. Most of Ivy's blacklist are locals. Only a handful are skilful. Sad truth.
  17. gong gong jia ti kong = 笨笨吃天公 is the same as 傻人有傻福 = blur ppl have all the luck. Think Forrest Gump.
  18. The clinics and hospitals during 1963 Rabbit year were already quite efficient in recording birth timing. Quite impossible for you not to know your timing.. unless you're not talking about your birth time. What "TIME" are you referring to huh?
  19. A little girl ran frantically to her mother. She told her mother that Ah Gong [阿公] had injured himself. "How did it happen?" the mother asked. The little girl replied with 11 "gong". "Gong gong gong, gong gong gong gong, gong gong gong gong." Can you make out what she's saying? Clue 1: Grandpa was hit by a flying can. Clue 2: Try reading it in hokkien. BTW, this has nothing to do with the topic of the thread. Try deciphering it for the fun of it.
  20. Sounds like a fishtank cleaner from Underwater World.
  21. Yes. I tried that before. They have 12 palaces governing aspects of your life. For me, some of them are quite accurate but the timing is wrong. Other areas got to wait for it to unfold. Maybe it's the skill of the Master ba, I'm not sure. Eden's FSM uses this method but with higher degree of accuracy.
  22. The 1st question seems like testing the Master.. he might think I'm not showing him due respect leh. Dilemma.
  23. Both my friend and I walked in to his office after seeing his banner at the entrance. Although he said that the standard protocol was to leave our birthdate and book an appointment, he made us an exception. My friend sat down and gave his birthdate without the time of birth. He looked at his face, palm and after some calculation came up with a two hour timezone. Best part was: he told my friend reassuringly that that had to be the correct time. It turned out to be true when I sought clarification from my friend after we left his office. He did not forget his birthtime. He just want to test the Master... Fluke or not, I'm not sure. But I was definitely impressed!
