But it's not really visible and I never noticed also until you mentioned. The obvious one is the mbr. Still waiting for rectification tomorrow.

As of yesterday, there was no rectification works on the wall. My husband will be going there today as Citygas is connecting the gas for the hob and teaching him how to use the gas dryer. Parquet works done. Dining area Not sure why some planks look like they have bubbles. Supposed to be matte finish. Took the photo against the light. Took this frm the window side. They only took 2 days to finish the floors. I'm not sure of the standards and this costs us $1460.

I cannot say my reno progress is smooth flowing but I know it's definitely than some who are facing major problems with their reno. The only downside is the contractor I have hired cannot preempt problems that might arise. Rectifications have been done along the way. My 1st major problem was of course the bathroom tiles (as posted earlier). The rest of the nitty gritty stuff was rectified asap, which was good. However, approaching handover, we discovered this Sealed up mbr bathroom entrance Totally unacceptable. It is sticking like a sore thumb and my bed is going to be facing this. Plaster whole wall - they want us to top up Their solution: They're gonna replaster that part with 'connie' (I don't know how it's spelled) powder to flush it with the rest of the wall. My husband is definitely pissed off.

Definitely a lesson learnt. We mightbe getting a new tap to replace this.

Yup, yours look so much nicer. We didn't choose this and they didn't ask for our opinion. It's supposed to be included in the $970 but it's clearly ugly. We've chose nice taps for our kitchen sink and bathrooms and this looks out of place.

Reno day 26 My laundry sink in the service yard. Thought the tap looks a bit cheapskate. I paid $970 for the whole setup. Confirm chop carrot. The laundry sink and dryer. The washing machine is coming next week. One side of the kitchen Another side. Not too happy with the way the chimney is installed. It's not flushed against each other. Share the company's name. I think this kind of companies are just unscrupulous. Ultimately, they're still being paid and making profits. I took electrical works and painting out of my original quotation too, after I've signed it. Glad that the reno co I contracted was ok with it and the site manager even helped to coordinate certain things with my electrician/ painter.

I bought my lights from them and they were delivered yesterday. 1 of my pendant light was in pieces and my service yard light cannot light up. Called them up on 2 separate accounts as I found out about the problem at different timings. They are sending me a replacement pendant light on Tues yet I have to bring the service yard light down for exchange. I just feel that this is so inconvenient. *edited* Must give credit to them as I just got a call from lightings.com.sg. They will be sending a service guy to verify the problem, on the same day they are delivering my new pendant light.
