  1. My current place is using those halogen lights for the areas at the kitchen cabinet. But the switch is near the hob and hood and not at the entrance to the kitchen. Therefore, it is a white elephant. For my new place, I still want to have T5 lights beneath the top cabinet. But to prevent it from being a white elephant, I ask my ID to do the switch at the entrance of the kitchen together with kitchen ceiling lights, so I can switch it on when entering the kitchen.
  2. I only did 2 blinds from MGL for my place. total cost is $350 after nego. I think the prices is abt the same as elsewhere...
  3. Hi Ivy, Thanks for your frankness. Be it nonsense or not, I chose to believe in the FSM I engaged. Although I am a laymen in FS, or rather, a FS idiot, i believe that there is no right or wrong. There are indeed business, and many many more dealing with FS ornaments. There are also many companies, some even big MNC, purposely display FS ornaments. your theory could be right and we appreciate your helpfulness in this forum. However, perhaps you can let us, laymen, just read and decide for ourselves, and at the end of the day, we are not obessed with FS, we just want to have a ease of mind, to sleep well thinking that these FS tips from the FSM we have engaged works......perhaps you can just let us indulge in that ba....

  5. I wish to clarify. Master Zhang did not ask me to put plants or what ornaments. He told me this particular spot is the wealth spot. Then I asked him what should be placed at that spot, and he mentioned to me that can be things like Sofa, or plants etc. I dont find anything wrong with tat too.

  21. Mine is all SS Piping. Initially my ID recommended copper becos can bend all, can paint over all these, but I told him no, I wanted SS piping for all. Dun worry, I believe Ideal Design will change your piping to the SS ones.
  22. Decided to change my laminate flooring to normal woodgrain colour and not use ash colour so that can complement the colour of my wardrobe and paint colour. My ID told me the carpentry are all up and painting works done. Lights in progress. Will check it out tomorrow morning!
  23. I have given up the idea of having this retractable laundry system as it is simply too costly for me. (About 700 for those retract out of windows kind). Further more, I do my laundry only once a week and has a dryer. For those clothes that cant use dryer, I will just use the conventional poles. But then again, anyone here has any idea besides those colourful old fashioned bamboos, any alternatives???
  24. Toilet areas you also plaster? Cant see the plastered wall from your blog's pics lei... Give a close up shot ok? hehe. We share a common thing, me bachelor pad too!
