Hi seashell, Im so shocked to hear about the paint work.. How can they try to cheat you like tat? its so irritating to hear tat there are so many dishonest employers ard doing lousy work.. N thanks for the info about the paints. After reading this, I tink i will go down n check the paints as well before they start painting. My house is very old and if they dun paint the base coat or do a good job, the paint will peel off easily very very soon. My fren's house jus renovated and I saw a small corner of the paint colour dropped off alr.. very sad de.. wish u all the best in ur reno ya.. will cont to read ur blog to update myself abt the cabinets' work quality.. hope the new guys are good..

im staying at tiong bahru.. jus a small 3 room unit. the signing of agreement was 28 sep i think.. then he promised to finish it within 6 weeks. so it will be at the beginning of nov.. hope i get to move in by then.. i wan the tiles manager to do my home tiles too.. LOL.. cos im worried tat the tiles seams will be big and ugly.. haix.. hopefully things will start moving again..

Uncle Ah Soon is delaying my house work again... I gave him 6 weeks to finish the work when he actually only ask for 4 weeks. But now, 3 weeks have passed but only plastering and hacking of floor tiles are done. He promised to finish the renovation on time, if not, I will stay in hotel and he will pay.. I hope I dun get to stay at hotel 81.. LOL.. I told him tat my furniture and electrical will be sending in on the next day of HO, hope he can hurry up and finish my house. How long do yall think that it will take usually to finish up the rest of the renovation of my house? Im afraid that if I push him too hard, the job will be half-heartedly done. I msged him and let him noe already tat if the renovation is done not up to my expectation, I will ask him to redo it for me.. Whenever I msg himi in chinese, there's always no reply. I wonder if he really reads it. I hope everyone out there who is interested in asking uncle ah soon to do their renovation, pls have the correct set of mind that such things will happen. I love his persistence in maintaining the high quality of work during reno, but you haf to be able to take his delays and delays.. I gave him the second payment of 20% even before he send the tiles to my house cos I tot I might not be around to pass him the money. But 2 weeks haf passed and not a single tile is near my house.. So, pls remember to hold the money until you really see something done. I post this just to vent my frustration but I still like the cheaper quote tat uncle ah soon is able to provide for me.

The numbers on the top left n right of each main numbers represents? If the numbers are good mountain or water stars, where should they be at? What does the main numbers represent as well?

cos i read on a fensghui webbie and it says not to put blue, black in the kitchen as it puts out the fire( stove). but, i tot water nutres wood, so blue, black shd be okie? maybe i will jus stick to white so it doesn clash with the fire element. but white( metal) weakens wood( kitchen bagua area). which shd i follow man? not to put out fire OR not to weaken kitchen bagua area?

Hi, I just bought my new home and after calculating my compass direction, it is facing south and sitting on north direction. Hence, it is a Kan Fire House, right? By using the calculation on the website, I was determined as KUA type, strong yin water (wood) tiger. My favorable elements are wood and earth. However, when I calculate for my husband, he is a KUN type, strong yin wood (metal) monkey. Hence, his favorable elements are fire and metal. May I know how can if my Kan Fire house is good for both of us? And if, not, what are the remedies I can do? In view of renovating my new home, I know that I need to focus first on the 5 elements bagua, using colours and materials to enhance the areas right? And also, I need to enhance my house missing bagua areas. Both my bedrooms are in the SW, W, NW and N (a small corner) directions. And, the main doors of the bedrooms are both in the SW area, facing the living room ( S and SE areas). With our birth elements calculation, my husband and I do not have a common direction to face for our sleeping position. May I know what is the best accommodating sleeping position for both of us? Hi, After drawing the bagua of my home, the kitchen is situated at the east and northeast areas, which signifies the wood and earth. The stove and oven will be in the east area of the kitchen facing the toilet door, while the fridge is at the northeast area. Does it make a difference if I put the stove and oven directly opposite the toilet door? As water nurtures wood, cabinets colour can be beige, blue or black. However, as I know, we should not use blue or black in kitchen as it puts out the fire elements( stove and oven). And, I know we should not put the stove and oven at the East area but it is impossible to move it to somewhere else. Which should I follow? Thank you for your guidance..
