  1. Agree with this. Also had similar issues with their customer service, who probably thinks that the world owes them a living. Haven't had much problems with the products, but the recommendation is to buy from Harvey Norman or somewhere else where you don't have to deal with Bosch directly. My hob was spoilt, and was surprised when it was easy to get an engineer to come down. Unfortunately, he didn't have the parts and it would have to be ordered. Unfortunately for me, I didn't get the engineer's phone number. So, all I'm stuck with is the customer service, and all I asked was for them to inform me when the parts will be arriving. After three phone calls later, I am no closer to knowing if such a spare part exists. And to reconfirm, three calls were promised to me, none of which happened which is why I had to call them three times. If you don't want to deal with them, don't buy their products.
  2. Used JS last year for basic wardrobe. Response was prompt and pricing was OK, but they're not the smartest. As a result, the wardrobe didn't fit (they took measurement of available space and constructed the INNER frame according to that measurement, which means the OUTER frame - the doors, walls - was jutting out from the available space, so now it's not flush with one of my walls). Also, my wardrobe is quite high, so normally requires two pieces of laminate to join together to cover the frame. Normal carpenters will put the seam on the upper section of the frame (out of normal sight), but the guys joined the two pieces so that the seam is at around knee height. *rolleyes*
  3. Nope, still looking. Like I mentioned, I have spare glass-top, so don't know what else to do with it other than to convert into coffee table. Don't think I wanna use solid surface cos my decor is mostly wood. You know anyone who can give me legs?
  4. Yah, this is the Antonius range. It warps after a while and if you hit it, all the drawers come crashing down!! Don't buy...
  5. Hiya, I need to create a custom glass-top coffee table. I already have the glass top, but need someone to make the legs. Any ideas anyone? I got the spare glass cos my ID screwed up my order for a glass partition, and I didn't want to waste it. Anyone? Thanks!!
  6. I got the SH1 system (800m) from Homefix for $230. Thanks!!
  7. This is probably a silly question, but where do you buy Hafele products from? Direct from Hafele in Sg Kadut? Just looking for TV mounts and some fittings... Thx!
  8. I'm a newbie at this too, and when I audition the Pro800, something felt missing. Till the guy swapped the sub with a Velo instead.. Will definitely upgrade to the Velo if I go for the Pro800.
  9. I got a Miele (old model) from the Miele display unit sale last month (but still had those sticky cover on it). Paid only 1850 for it.
  10. I hope it's useless too, cos I'm not installing one! I've got an island hob, so the hood looked a little odd, so decided to leave it out completely. Hope it's a justified omission.
  11. Mine quoted $580 for sandblasted door..
  12. Does anyone know how to change the lock / handle in the HDB plastic bifold toilet door?
  13. Hi, does anyone know where I can get magnetic paint in Singapore?
  14. Hi, does anyone have an experience in staining teak parquet flooring? I want to stain mine to a much lighter natural / light oak colour, but not sure what it will look like. Thanks!
