at the moment, i am the champion here..july until NOW... n yet, he is not doing anything for my house. if he ever have the means $$ to do work, he should complete MINE FIRST.. sorry i really mean no offence to others behind me... but my patience is running out!!!! fact is, anyone in my shoes would think this way.... he should complete mine firstbut he DIDN'T!!!! he still do here n bit, there a bit....ggeeeeszzzzz!!!!!!!!!

thanks for the console... it seems wrong of me to choose to believe ah soon and continue to pay him... jus feel myself like a stupid idiot... it is a feeling of betrayal... i duno if u understand what i mean... our trust in him is being abused..... oh yah, someone mention, no use crying over spilled milk... duno if the old timers were to give ah soon a sms to tell him to please do our house.. will it help???

no acid wash according to my contractor... he only polish it... reason is, these tiles comes with a wax layer to protect them from scratches when laying the tiles. after laying, the wax have to be removed by polishing it.. it is not due to wash or anything because the round patches are all the same size, same location! and, i realized there is already watermark stain along the grout lines of the tiles... am very surprised it claim it is anti stain but already got stain even before i move in....

imo, every business got it's ups and downs... especially in the contractors field... i am not trying to side ah soon... what i am saying, when my hubby decided to engage ah soon, i told him the disadvantage of engaging him is that, he can run away with our money anytime... at the very least, now he has not MIA yet! *fingers crossed* now, uncle promised us this week will have jobs done and will HO by this month (NOV) FOR SURE!! we listen only. people here in renotalk can also vouch for us if this promise by uncle will come true????? me n trevor are in the midst of getting direct contractors to finish up our job if uncle don't respond to us this week. if any contractor who sees our situation and willing to give us a helping hand, we will be much appreciated. or if fellow forumers have direct contact of these contractors that is cheap and good, pm me. I need to do the remaining: 1) Painting 2) Whole house window grilles 3) Balcony windors 4) Patch up ceiling works 5) Shower screen for toilets 6) Bi-fold doors for toilet 7) Install WC, Basin, rainshower, water storage heater & miscellaneous 8) Electric works (minor works) 9) Minor tiling work and rectifications 10) Change door locks

Hi I bought LIANG SENG HIN (LSH) HOMO TILES MODEL: 6868 because of its claim of 'anti-stain' features. However, after laying n polished the tiles, even size, patches of circle print surfaced on the tiles. the whole house tiles is now affected. the patches looks like a watermark! at first suspected it could be due to stacking of the tiles that causes the mark! but if this is so, the mark should be square and not round! LSH says they will send someone down tommorrow to check on my tiles.. anyone have encounter this problem??? i strongly recommend people who has choosen this tile to go check more clearly for such mark as this kind of mark, from what i know, in time to come, will change to grey n evenutally dark grey!! i can't imagine & can't accept if my whole house tiles becomes like that!! Special thanks to our Mr Trevor, without U, i didn't realize the stain!! THANK U!! U SAVED ME!!!!

the gold laminates is vvv nice but price is...soooo exxx!! dun go for silver cus my neighbours uses it hor, the effect after like 5 yrs later, the laminates got a very 'old' look, like kind of tarnishing metal feel...

thanks kiven! i dun have a good impression of CASE, no. difficult to call tru, answers given are all general, other than paying $10 for them to write a letter, nothing in specific they can do. imagine to wait for their letter n etc, probably new year liao!! they always have the kind of 'u paid u sign what can we do' kind of attitude which i HATE it!!

Its ok no worries..! i understand maybe others see also feel 'kan bu guo qu'.... i guess if uncle have a choice, he also dun want to delay us... it is not that he don't have good record before... jus that this time, overboard liao... cus now i feel, say so much also no use de, if uncle can do, he will do, if not we will seek recourse from other areas... as long as uncle still in this business, we will still have a chance to get things done.... i hope ur reno is v smoooth n nnot like us...!

for those people who is not doing renovation with ah soon, ur comments is HEARD. NOBODY CAN BE MORE ANGRY THAN ME NOW. NO ONE! I also squeeze into a room of 7 people, just like jesslyn, no freedom, no space no venitilation, whatever u can imagine..!! BUT WHAT MORE CAN WE DO? i give ah soon ONE LAST CHANCE to finish up the remaining item next week. no point going to CASE, it is sIMPLY waste of time. i ever call CASE to check on other cases, their answers are very standard and can't help much and 'u stupid to pay money' kind of attitude... i will NEVER GO TO THEM because I can do a better job than them...!!!!!!!!!! We are civilised people, we, fini, trevor, jesslyn, we give in and wait for uncle with our uptmost good faith and trust. me, fini, trvor n jesslyn is prepared to lose money. no worries... this few thousand dollars--we have our means to get our money back. meanwhile uncle promised and is working hard now to resolve our issues...

oh yes, if u want savings, be prepared to wait. if u can't wait, then don't go for these savings.. i am the champion in delays now, who can be more angry n frustrated than me? i squeeze in a room of 7 people, my ex-house furniture paying rental in the warehouse, etc etc... how can i not be angry?? i can only say, uncle got his 苦中... i not siding with him, ultimately the only console i have is, i save close to $18K i calculated till date... my hubby believes in his 苦中 that the delays is not what uncle wanted for sure... haiz.... future house owners can consider asking uncle to indicate the HO date on the contract, at least if he don't HO on that date, there is some avenue for you to go n sue him for your losses... nothing beats a black n white contract...
