Hello guys.. we just bought an EA in Woodlands Dr 14 Sq Area 147sqm. 1st appnt 23rd Oct (feels soo far away) and completion possibly 8 weeks later (we doing contra) We have more or less confirmed our ID and will be doing complete overhaul of the unit for about 30k+. The current unit has black galaxy granite flooring for dining and living. Very nice but sadly very badly maintained. Also makes the house look so dark so we will be hacking it away to put in gloss homogeneous. Very sayang coz granite flooring so ex but dun really see a way we can keep it.
  6. I was quoted $580 for a new veneer door by my ID. Trying to save some costs and hoping can relaminate the doors.
  7. I am buying a resale unit with veneer doors but obiang looking. Thinking of re-laminating them instead of tearing them down and getting new ones. I understand that if relaminate whole door, may not fit the door frame so just looking at re-laminating the middle portion (the door is not the flush type, has a centre panel) Anybody done this before or knows anyone who can have this done ? Pls share.
  8. Went down to Seng Kwong to see their wardrobe last week. They having promo $2500 for 10ft. Anybody used Seng Kwong ? What are your comments about their workmanship ?
  9. We sold our house (4A) and bought an EA both without using agents. To sell, we advertised in ST701 and all the agents and their buyers came knocking. To buy, we sent flyers to the blocks we were interested in and the owner called us to say she was interested in selling. Currently got 1st appnt date (Oct 09) so waiting (im)patiently. So far everything has gone well.. hopefully it will go smoothly till completion.
