  1. Would like to get a quote for System 4 inverter, preferably 22-24k for living room. Am eyeing Toshiba or Daikin.

  2. Hi All, Would like to know if any one have any ideas about this SIlent Juicer currently sold at shopping centre like Robinsons. Heard that it was quite expensive but here were several brands out there. Care to share if you currently own one? Thanks in advance.
  3. I bought my Panasonic washer 8kg model for $950, 3 years warranty plus $100 NTUC voucher, a great deal I believe

  4. My MIL bought, less than 1 month Kaput!! Motor faulty!! but the say something else.
  5. my take ...Panasonic for electric water heater, Rinnai for Gas heater.
  6. 1400rpm is the max spin speed for drying not the wash speed.
  7. seriously, have anyone out there heard of a faulty KDK fan unit?? I mean minus the RC.
  8. PLease search & read all postings on MitXXXXX AC, you'll be amaze by their quality issues...
  9. For reliability, only choice would be KDK. Probably find another way or alternative to install your lights. My experience tells me that KDK is still the best, you'll not look back. FYI, I am not from KDK, my whole house, wall , stand fans are all KDK, they NEVER EVER FAILED me. Just my 2 cents, cheers!
  10. Rinnai Gas (analog) water heater I believe is still the most reliable brand. Have been using it for the last 13 years. Just 2 years back, the battery depletes faster than normal (2 X D size), normally takes about 8 months for an Eveready Heavy duty, now its 1 month change once. Can't be bothered to repair it and I got a D size adapter which can take AA size batt, made use of rechargeable batts and there it goes, recharge batt every month. So far so good. Till unit breakdown then might consider a Rinnai Digital one.
  11. Yes, have purchased the washing machine. In my opinion, I think it is an awesome washer, very quiet, spins dry and clean. Have not check power consumption as just purchased less than 2 weeks. I bought it at a much cheaper price. Let me know if you would like to know price and place I bought. I'll PM you. Btw, I thought the promo is till end of Oct??
  12. Frankly, after reading so many similar posting of bad service and product. This has reaffirmed my believe that ME is the worst brand out there, I guess most people are attracted to Jack Neo's advert lah. Lol.

  13. Hi BlackSesami, Yes, take it with a pinch of salt! The sales guy is bullXXXXXX, I was in the same situation as you and was directed to Bosch. Panasonic released a front load with tilted drum fully made in Japan in year 2007 (combo-washer /dryer), check this out :http://renotalk.20.forumer.com/a/panasonic-tilted-drum-washing-machinedryer_post45870.html . In fact the model that we're discussing should be the third release just that it was design w/o tilt. Not sure why Panasonic decided to change the drum design, would have probably be more water efficient. I am a great fan of Panasonic product for its durability and reliability, however times have changed, product are mostly made in CHina now, even my regular neighborhood electrical warned me. Anyway, I was quoted from 2 stores $1220 & $1250 (incl. GST) for their 10KG model. $980.00 for the 8KG. At the end of the day, I still trust Panasonic.
  14. I have some Original 6 Arm side brush for sale, 560 series. S$12.00 each.
  15. Hi Aegis, Well it is a long story. Purchased the Starmex series 4 yrs + already, first day broke down, was on a saturday next 2 night w/o AC!! ME refuse to replace a new unit despite my numerous complaints direct to their manager, bunch of hopeless people who cannot make concrete decision. Service hotline terrible, really bad! You must personally experience it! Total of about 4 X of repairs within a year, thereafter experienced constant water leakage, not cold at times. Dripping of AC water is so regular to a point have to put pail beneath AC. AC tech will give you all sorts of reasons to evade the real problem. To say the truth, this guys don't even know how to rectify their own product, kept giving silly reasons. When fan coil blow water droplets, they paste felts to absorb the droplets, thinking that it will solve the issue. I am quite suspicious that some new units sold are not really new, it happen that the left side of my interior fan coil unit plastic fixture (left plastic holding coil unit) was dented inwards, looks like they have over screwed till plastic fixture dent (probably during production time), this was discovered only when I tried solving the leakage problem but too late warranty over leow then discovered. My next AC will definitely not be a ME again, never, will likely switch back to Daikin. I have been relating my bad experience to people I know and get them to avoid this brand. If anyone finds that theirs is alright and serving them well then probably could be a "Heng Sway" case, however looking at some bros/sis feedback I guess we should give it a miss.
  16. Bad choice, I have ME starmex inverter model, really night mare!! No matter how cheap, my next AC will never be this brand again!
  17. Go for KDK, in my opinion its the best choice for durability. However, nowadays most products are made in China, therefore not sure if it could really last. I have seen KDK ceiling fans sold at Mustafa Centre basement (new building), do double check if the price is alright as compared with local electrical store.
  18. Exactly what I have experience, sigh.. you should have read my post before buying.
  19. Correction : I am considering the 10KG model which is NA-140VG3. To BlackSesame, I guess the better choice will still be Panasonic (japanese brand), I am still using my old top load National brand washer and it is still working fine after more than 12 years, the only disadvantage is water consumption rather high else will still stick to it.
  20. Hii All, Would like to know if anyone own this 10kg or 8kg washer. Like to find out its performance in terms of water & energy efficiency. Currently owns a Panasonic old generation 7Kg top load, still going strong but find that water consumption too high, bearing in mind that electricity price just upped lately. Thanks in Advance!
  21. Korean worse! AT least get a Japan made lah, of course a little ex.
