-
me too, my new place is old hdb and dont have its own aircon ledge or else i also follow u buy non-inverter.
-
wow i paid in excess $591. where did u buy from? cash/chq/installement?
-
non-hdb contractor will have the necessary papers to apply for a hdb permit via proxy, so no problem at all. my loan with rhb was pretty straightforward, 1 annoying thing is that they charge $10 for each chq (except for the 1st) *ouch

after doing the maths, per trip to service 4 aircon is $90. 1st yr: once every 6 mths 2nd yr: once every 3 mths 3rd yr onwards: once every 4 mths

and so i got a free inspection today at my place and was told sys-4: 3x10kbtu is good for all my 3 rooms (even including the slightly bigger MBR) and a 26kbtu is fine for my living as long i don't switch on all 4 units. i was also recommended either daikin/mitshubishi electric. so now is price war! ---updated--- pls tell me what do u think of this price? Mitshubishi Electric Sys-4 Equipment : $2,730.00 Installation : $1,110.00 Bracket : $150.00 GST (7%) : $279.30 Total : $4,269.30 including 2x10kbtu + 1x13kbtu +1x26kbtu

as i have checked further, my place is not upgraded with the new electrical loading therefore i'm only stuck with 1 condenser even as i wanted to get a system 5 from carrier, i'm unable to do that because of the old electrical loading i have to stick with a system 4 and i guess i will be looking at 1)daikin 2)mitshubishi electric 3)mitshubishi heavy industry my guess is system 4 approx $4000, system 3 approx $3000 any comments?
