first of all... thank you for ur part in fighting climate change.. heh.. love the idea.. cant wait to see how it turns out.. and i like the colors u have chosen too.. unfortunately my hubby doesnt like too many colors painted in our place so its just plain white.. to look spacious wor.. only have 1 wall next to our dining table which is Champagne color..

just confirmed blackout curtains for mbr and roller blinds for the rest of house with jimmy textiles. total damage : $1600 (gst absorbed by them).. got the fridge, washing machine n dryer from parisilk 2 days ago.. $50 more than GAB.. was at parisilk n too lazy to look anymore.. hubby also confirmed on the plasma tv at parisilk earlier.. panasonic 42inch (cant remember the model no. ) for $1k plus.. :huh: also bought a set of bedlinens from robinson's a few days back.. they are having a sale now plus ocbc n robinson's members get 20% over watever discounts there is.. didnt realise bedlinens can be so expensive! think spent abt $400.. !! *faint*

ossify, can u show me a pic of ur installed ventilation fan? i wanted to install last min lah.. but ID say might look a bit ugly if do now cos of wiring, cos watever concealed wiring in my toilet has already been concealed.. cos there's also kinda like a false ceiling in the toilet for my lights.. wanna see how i can go ard it.. thanks.

congrats pieces! for intradesign (or my ID particularly) i didnt really get 3D drawings (not computerised ones anyways) but also cos we didnt really ask for it cos we want minimal things in the house so didnt really need 3Ds.. only thing ID did draw out for us (3D on paper, actual drawing, old skool bah.. ) was the kitchen layout n cabinets plus WIW n study. then mosaic placements in the toilets pretty much left it to her, she jz showed us wat mosaics she was gonna use.. but i think general practise is wat Mickey, alamak n ossify has mentioned..

hvnt been to house these couple of days, but sms ID things that needed to be rectify when we were there last. kept us updated and gv us some nice news too. the foyer window stickers i mentioned earlier, asked her to remove the ugly stickers, think its prob too much trouble n time needed so she told us will change the glass panels(only) for the windows FOC.. then she discovered that the lourve windows in both toilets are too dirty so will change that (glass panels) for us FOC too.. :yeah: now thinking if can add ventilation fan in the mbr toilet somehow..

hi pisces_land.. r u a pisces? cos im a pisces too... anyways.. main reason we chose an ID and her as our ID is cos we travel a lot so wont be able to keep an eye on contractors ourselves so need someone responsible. she came highly recommended from a few of hubby's frens who used her as ID b4.. her ID company is not cheap though.. but so far she has been quite good. have had no sleepless nites as yet. her ID company does carpentry in-house so carpentry she said she can 'pau' good work wor.. so far so good as can see from photos. jz minor touch ups here n there which is quite usual i think.. we started hacking on the 12th nov n we have been to the house abt 6 times only but everything seems to be on track, she told us HO might be a few days late than scheduled but we expected it. hopefully can get by christmas.. ok will do.. thanks. how is the touching up in ur place going? went down jz now to our place..they are doing some touch ups to the cabinets in WIW n study.. but can see a lot of other finer details ard the house that need to be touched up. ceiling beams from hdb are not straight one lor.. irritating.. was thinking wud want them to do the touch ups even b4 HO cos hard to fix timing after that.. pretty sure they have a lot of other jobs to rush also cos year end. so since the contractors are there might as well do it hor.. was there wif my floor laminate guy jz now.. he quite helpful leh.. he became our freelance QC guy to see wat else can get ID to touch up on. cos he has some background in reno. told him after reno get him to come see n help us chk out wat else we cud have missed out on.. he say ok leh.. haha..

anyone know where i can find those mesh type high back office chairs n price reasonable also.. ? wanna get for my study..

think i will surely get shock from my PUB bill! hv quite a number of downlights.. ya my cove lights also perpendicular to wall with mirror.. think can reflect light, cos mine dining area seems quite bright leh..
