Hows is ur reno so far? Still satisfied with the id? We are kind of stuck now. The last id's quote was way too far our budget. So now is to open eyes big big and source for id/contractor again. I looked at urs and seems t fit what we are doing and the price also fit out budget. Are they still having the promo?

I haven reach the stage of electrical wiring yet, still sourcing for id/contractor. But i was told that electrical works varies from $900 to $3k.

Actually i spoke to 2 contractors, one looked at my quote (which was done by another id @$34K) said that he can do but got to add $4k more. i was First time i hear that contractor cost more than id. Then 2nd contractor went to site with me, sent me layout plan but didnt ge back to me on the quote.

Her place is also undergoing reno. Shd be done by end of this month. She is staying in 1A. Which blk are u staying?

Met up with the id again today. He had done up the quote with the changes. Wow!!! It was way abv our budget. 12 to 17K abv our budget. Very sian tp continue to look for another id. Is it really so ex to do up a hse these days?

That is also another worrying point in reno. After dishonest contractor/id, then furnitures too. Sigh... we are not asking for super service but at least be honest to us.
