  1. Dear all Sorry for the late reply as I was busy with my work. After talking to the supplier, he is setting the following price for our group buy. 1. $630 for 1 no. F100 2. $450 for 1 no. F10 3. $400 for each F10 if you buy 2 locks (can be 2 x F10 or 1 F10 and 1F100) 4. $600 for each F100 if you buy 2 locks (can be 2 x F100 or 1 F10 and 1F100) Please understand the discount for item 3 and 4 are given due to transportation and manpower cost involved in each trip and hence it will be cheaper if you procure more locks. 2. Thank you guys. I will be consolidating the order and pass to the supplier soon. In fact Len and Jeffcraze can proceed with the installation arrangement as I had already informed the supplier today to expect your calls.
  3. The low battery warning is going to warn at least weeks ahead. In the event of no battery, u still can use a 9 V battery to operate the keylock from outside. Mid oct should not be an issue. Pay upon installation.
  4. I will need to check with the waterproofing contractor next week on the actual testing method. They mention non-destructive testing so I am keen to know their tersting method.
  5. Dry cement is supposed to be better than the wall putty. However, for serious case, u should use Begof's idea of cement with sand. Quick dry cement is only required to be mixed with water. Anyway, u got the order right. Quick Dry Cement -> Sealer -> Nippon Matex and any other emulsion paint. I will check the address from the receipt later and advise u the shop. WD
  6. lol..take sands from playground..i like that idea. But on serious note, I am patching a small surface area, so the 3.5kg (come in packet form, so should be gross wt of 3.5 kg) should be adequate. The supplier did inform me no need to mix with sand in my instance. However, if there is exposed rebar, then you probably need to also prime the rebar before applying the quick dry cement to prevent further rusting. I had used wall putty on the affected areas before but it flake off after a while. So I am trying this quick dry cement this time round. Wish me luck. My next project is going to be even tougher, painting a wall that suffered water seepage before. Will be calling contractor in to use Infra red to check whether there is any more seepage before I carry out the plastering and painting.
  7. Sure. Anymore interested as I will finalise the groub buy with the supplier probably by 12 Aug 10 as I am looking to install at 17 Aug.
  8. I bought a Nippon Matex at $29 and Berger sealer at $19 today. Also bought some quick dry cement 3.5 kg at around $10. Got them from a paint shop along Lavendar street which is just next to Hotel 81..I also saw they are selling tubs of plaster material and u may ask them. I was receommdned by my friends in construction line and the business is good when I ws there this morning. There is only one paint shop along the Lavender Street. Notwithstanding the above, I was surprised to find out Homefix sold the matex at $26, cheaper than this paint shop, I will be carrying out the repairing of the spalling concrete with quick dry cement and then with paint the sealant at my current place to test my painting skills.
  9. Sounds bad. Anyway, I am going to paint my own house next week onwards, Any lobang that I can get the paint at a good price?
  10. U know chinese like to "huat huat huat" and 888 sounds like it..lol yar i better watch out at night since i will be doing painting myself...
  11. hehe... Although I am not that "pan tang" and I am taking over my unit in the middle of August and will proceed with the cleaning and minor reno. Of cse i will still move in after the lunar seventh month to have a "feel good" factor.
  12. I am also looking for 4 IP CCTV cameras with low-lux level clear vision. If any1 has a good recommendation, please inform me. WD
  13. The supplier will not collect payment if it cannot be installed.
  14. ok bro. Any more interested parties? I should be doing mine with F100 some time middle of Aug 10. Will post some pic
  15. 1. In the event of the battery failure, you can charge cia a 9V battery externally. But I cannot answer the electronic failure portion. Btw, do you stay in HDB, condo or landed? 2. For me, I am installing them on the front main and back doors where most people would be used to seeing handles and hence I am getting F100 instead of F10 for main doors. I may be getting F10 for my bedroom. Hope the above clarifies the doubts. Cheers WD
  16. Same functionality for both F10 and F100 except F10 does not have a handle. End of the month should not be an issue as I am installaing by middle of the month.

  18. Buy if you need it desperately for your own stay. Buy if you think you have the holding power and do not mind holding for the next 10-20 years. Property has its cycle like shares. However, if you do not mind get stuck with a property for 10-20 years, then go ahead. For me, I am buying for my own stay.
