Go to BO concept at paragon...sofa bed with air matress (super comfortable) but only one design n it's not posh looking for the price that they sell ($3K+) If only they had a better design, I would have got one for my place.

I found out the biggest culprit in aircon leaking water is the installer in Singapore. I was shown the pipes they use in USA are those as big as washing machine water drainage pipes (30mm) compared to Singapore using a 5mm-16mm pipes. smaller pipes are more prone to chokes as gel like substance builds up over time n harder to flush out. Hope this info helps for those installing new aircons in the future

You have this problem due to your ID/contractor cut corners n did not use the right type of wood. Like earlier posting, u need to construct your cabinet in the toilet with marine grade wood which will last u at least 15 years without mold or mushroom problems nor will it rot due to water/dampness

Looks like u missed out on painting of whole house The quote is on the high side..should be around $10-12K I'm doing something similiar, been asking for quotes from a few company

So far came across rezt & relax giving 5 years warranty for kitchen during expo n another id company (can't remember which one-browse too many) on the net giving 3 years warranty

I'm looking at renovating my place after CNY your place is really well done and u have good taste. my only complain is that I don't have as much cash as you to spend on big tv n nice washer:) My reno budget is very tight too.(only $15K)

A good ID company will give at least 5 years warranty. Those that gives 1 year warranty, it's because they r not confident of their carpenter's workmanship (they are sub-con from Malaysia) You can almost be certain of faults n problems. Look at IKEA..They are giving 15 n 25 years warranty on their kitchen sets. Don't think any Singapore company can match that

I wonder how can anyone buy furniture online..can't dispute if they take away pictures..won't know exactly how it look like in normal lighting either

Just make sure u don't take a lawyer which is recommended by your property agent as the law firm will jack-up price to pay agent's commission..I learn thru mistake as I pay $3900 lawyer fee on a 500k property.
